Ive got a question about Daemonic Ascension, specifically about fear facing in the cave, in the book The Daemonolater's Guide to Daemonic Magick; the process of ascension is very descriptive but the fear facing is a bit small, Is there any risk to fear facing in the cave?, can you fail at fear facing?, a bit of a mor extensive insight would be really nice :)
@Lincz - This merely means addressing those things you fear and working on overcoming those fears either within the astral temple, or in real life outside the ascension atmosphere. Yes - you can fail. There may be some fears that are just to great. However at least identifying the fear is a recognition that you have it. The only risk is if you're really emotionally unstable or psychologically unsound it could cause problems with an existing psychological condition.
@TeenWitch777 - It is, but it's changed. It's going beyond Grimoiric magick at this point. So we'll see where I end up. LOL! I'm just going to start writing and see what happens.
1 possible misconception is that the name of the religion is 'Demonolatry' and yet you don't appear to all worship demons. Is there some reason that those who are involved with Demonolatry don't worship demons?
@TrollTowelhead - Well, worship simply means to respect and hold in high regard. And a Daemon is a divine intelligence. I very much respect and hold in high regard Demons. Therefore I worship them. If you're one of those one-true-wayers who thinks there's only one way to worship and one definition of Demon (yours) then you're the one with the misconception due to a very limited viewpoint. :)
@OFSAdrianna The misconception I meant relates to a term attributed a number of possible meanings being used in a specific sense, but the interpreter MIS-selects from amongst the throng of possibilities. Within the cultus of Demonolatry, I am reading you saying that the term 'demonolatry' and the notion of 'worship' is such that it means "respect and hold in high regard". I don't know about one-true-way, but I do know that this selection amongst the possible definitions is not always understood.

@OFSAdrianna ahh fabulous. It's always fun when you have a plan for yourself and then the demons come in and decide otherwise. xD
