this time war, the gap between 8-9th doctors, needs to be explained it's really the best way for the series to move on, if smith somehow ends up in the middle of the war stops his people and the daleks and master and then regenerates into the 12th.
This is brilliant! I love it - the 'regeneration' from Eight to Nine was extremely well done, even if his stance wasn't quite what we've become used to in 'New Who' - it got the message across and that's the main thing. Well done!
I can't help but wonder if the new Dr Who Movie might go back and address this missing adventure - I know RTD said we should never see it, that it's best left to the imagination, but IMHO we should see Eight's final moments...

Last official statements from the BBC just a few weeks ago had the movie at the "We'd like to do this" stage of development. I personally suspect that it's much further along than this, and they want to make it a bit of a surprise when it drops on the 50th anniversary.

Maybe the doctor locked that part in time to make sure the universe would remain. All rips and fauts and temporal shifts could be because of this explosion.

I think that the ninth regeneration was triggered due to the Doctor's guilt over destroying th timelords. The eighth doctor's decision to commit suicide would explain alot about number 9's attitude and personality and would definitely be compelling television.

Actually the cause of Gallifrey's destruction is apparently from when "the Cruciform fell". Has nothing to with the Eye of Harmony. The Cruciform fell, and Gallifrey burned and the Time Lords died, and so too did the Eighth Doctor. Many surrounding planets and stars were destroyed as well by the Cruciform's fall.
I posted that BEFORE End of Time aired, and I just said it's what destroyed Gallifrey. I didn't say why the Doctor did it. He chose to destroy the Cruciform in orbit around Gallifrey so it would destroy the insane Time Lords, and the Daleks.

as i have stated so many times before, i can not show my version of the time war for copywrite reasons and for the sake of modesty in general, oh and incidentently this is a public forum medium and i can give criticism no matter how insulting it sounds.

Have you ever considered that even if it is a public forum and all opinions are welcome, That in the name of human decency you should cut someone a break and say 'Hey maybe I didn't like that video and maybe I could do better, but still nice try.' Rather than making yourself a real conceited moron infront of all these people. Please tell me the copyright situation as I dont believe that one exists. Oh and messages are regulated so insuts can be removed, or made to be spam by the community.

@adamsbullock that guy was an ahole. regardlkess of how good or bad any video is the time war is near damn impossible to portray. its like saying, well actually yeah, portray time in all its infinite complexity. no 1 can do that. saying that I do hope someday to see a book, comic, audio story or something that portrays at least some of the tie war preferrably the events we've eard of, the Nightmare Child, Davros' death, the ressurrection of the Master, the Doctor ending the war, Rassilon's rise
