they recently (since last year actually) started re selling xmods stuff. you can't really find anything besides the stage 2 motor kit, awd and ground effects lights, but the rest is on their website.

Um.. well, for the 30,000 motor, make sure you use the lowest gear (I think its 8-25 or 8-23.. i forgot...) otherwise, just put some tape on the wheels, put in the AWD, and then you should be able to do some simple drifting ;)

its because

A) hobby grade drifters are too expensive for some of us

B) It's much smaller than a hobby grade drifter. while some come in 1:18 or 1:10, they're a bit big. the mini-z is small , but too expensive for some of us.

C) Xmods are, well, shit. They're not very well built and aren't exactly hte best things on the market right now. which is waht makes an xmod. if it was perfet out of the box, then what's the point? the fact that its bad is what gives Xmods its personality

It would slow down the top speed because of the fact that its channeling the power to 4 wheels instead of 2. The only benefit is that when cornering, the front two tires help turn better.
