unrelated to this vids, but any tips on how to not get giddy on the spinny pole? i'm only doing static in pole class now but i've really wanna do spinny. its impossible to spot while spinning!
If u want to spot when learning new moves, just do them without spinning. Then once you're confident with a move attempt it on spinny.
Some just gets used to spinning. I still get dizzy every now and then. The trouble is when one gets nauseous after spinning. If u don't get sick then it's just a matter of getting used to it. If you do get sick, I know of people taking pills for motion sickness.
This video really helped me, however I still have a dumpy looking "sit" - is there any possibility you could break down a body roll step by step? My teacher says there are two parts to it, but I can't do it without looking very awkward. If you can that would be fabulous, thanks. :)
I think the trick is to keep your legs straight and back straight as your head comes in to start the roll. So right after the sit, as your head comes into the pole, straighten your legs and try to arch your back as opposed to a hunched back. Hope that helps :)
You have the body of a child, this is almost illegal

@xooropa lol I joke around about being skanky on the pole all the time. I know they're not really skanky. Just a bit of fun :)
Yeah, Alethea taught us that wave in a workshop I did with her. I learnt SO much from her.
