It's mostly trial and error, but take a look at the ThinApp Blogs. There's a great post on what things can be removed called "ThinApp Troubleshooting - Repost".
Great vid, but I had some questions, how did you know what to remove and change in the Project Browser after Capturing the application. Is that something that comes with trial and error or did you know exactly where to look and what to remove and change? If you could explain that would be awesome.
@slashd Then I wouldn't have been capturing the application on a Clean PC/VM and the results of the captured application would have been hit-or-miss at best. Also, a purchase of ThinApp comes with VMware Workstation.
@bvestationfan Dude, seriously, any easier and primates could do this. :-)
it would have been a lot better if u have explained it from your mouth instead of that music,,,music is gud but it does not server any purpose in this case..
what's the idea of thinapps?

Too much information with very brief information and too fast. The product idea is great though. Thank you for the video.

very nice demo and tempo
@slashd: once you experienced the "revert to snaphot" button you know why you want to capture the installation on a VM.
when building virtuals apps you really want VMware WS or VirtualPC (free)

You could have skipped the entire vmware part en just install thinapp on the host system.
It's like adding an extra layer without any benefits to it.

vmware makes this harder to do than it should be
