There is actually an even easier way to do this. Just open a bottle, and then click on the control panel tab. Then just open task manager. Then when task manager opens, click File , then open.  Navigate to where the .exe file is, and voila

@VemVetVadHur You can't run install .exe's. It only allows the opening of files, such as a game. .exe installs will only install on a Windows, and CrossOver can't simulate the whole operating system.

Hey is it possible that downloading an exe. and then putting it in a bottle can be harmful to my Mac? A couple of weeks ago I used crossover to turn an installer.exe on my mac. The files were then installed within a bottle. These files were then used as an add-on for a game within my apps by moving them within the application's contents. A few days later my Mac started experiencing configuration failure and froze and crashed until it became unresponsive. Could this be Crossover which caused thi?
