I haven't played the Wii version, but New Super Mario Bros was way too short. However... about them not having any "voice" or originality, I couldn't disagree with you more. The main things that impressed me about the game is how it incorporated game elements from the 3D games! Such as sliding down/bouncing off walls, and the butt stomp. It has also new and creative power ups, like mini Mario, giant Mario, and the Kupo Shell. The Wii version has four players, so what's the problem again? XD

I agree the first resident evil is my favorite as well. It gets no love from alot of people and im not sure why. Me and that game have alot of memories and i use to be scared as shit of that game as a kid.

Nice collection. I agree with SPM and Suikoden 4. I used to like Super paper mario when it first came out, but the more I played it, the more I realized that it was just sooo inferior compared to Paper Mario 1 and 2. It sure as hell not worth the $50 I paid for it.

Also, I dunno what the hell with Suikoden 4 either. The whole series, especially 2 & 3, were great, but 4......goddamn that game because it almost RUINED the series for me. Thank god 5 saved it from RPG purgatory.

Honestly, I envy your collection. I want some those games really bad. I was very agitated when you held up masterpieces like GRADIUS V and stated your mixed opinions about them. It's just not fair.

One game I highly recommend you get for your collection is ODIN SPHERE. Actually, I think you can download it for the PS3. I think you would really like that game.

The pit of 100 trials in Super Paper Mario is pretty challenging. Also some of the levels in the Super Mario Galaxy games kick my ass. BTW Rob if you liked Splatterhouse, I would seriously consider Mad World and the No More Heroes games on the Wii.

Big Trouble in Little China, 2001, Inception, Clockwork Orange, T2, Toy Story, Gladiator, Full Metal Jacket and Memento are all favorites of mine too! Have almost all those on blu-ray as well!

I have the new Planet Earth blu-ray set which has the DVD extra features and newer extras which alone make that edition worth owning IMO. I was gonna buy the Limited Edition set that was shaped like Earth, but it was like $30 than what I paid for the regular set.

I got my Alien Anthology blu-ray set off Amazon as well and it was also the UK import. I guess most people on Amazon were selling the UK import set. I didn't really care if it was the import as long as all the blu-ray discs were the same. The outer box for my copy is a little bigger though. Another must own on blu-ray, as well as the LOTR Extended Edition set.
