i had mine installed by a Lowe's third party installer and they used glue on the bathroom threshold. it only takes a few stubbed toes and a little water to dislodge the glue. this way looks way more secure and ready for the long haul.
@kvkmj Agreed. I went to replace a fast trim piece done by my local Home Depot and they used glue/silicone also. The manufacturer recommended method shown in the video is much more robust.
@ashtonmac88 yea it bows a bit, and its because those two track pieces werent aligned, you notice it when he starts screwing em in with the cordless drill
@johnc1280 yea, I thought so! Seems it would be better to alighn the tracks an mark the screw holes on the concrete before drilling!? That way you would avoid this problem!
I saw a couple of videos and even a flooring guy I talked to said that you can glue the railing down instead of screwing it...that doesn't seem right to me, what are your thoughts on that?

doing this in concrete floor is dodgy.... be careful of the membrane in the concrete floor puncturing it with the drill can lead to damp.
