I know Amy isn't popular, and I can understand why. Sorkin visibly gave her good moments and bad moments, so I think he wanted us to have mixed feelings about her. I have great admiration, however, for that same strength and persistence that most people find annoying. The debates between her and Josh were so much better than the chick-flick scenes with Donna later on. Amy was so much stronger. The women I like most are the ones who can hold their own like that, even when I don't agree with them.

Amy has passions and strength and her own world, doesnt need to lean on anyone else to get up in the morning... that's kinda cool!

I really didn't like Amy, I hated that she came back in the last season; loved Josh though and this interaction between Josh and Leo is amazing!

Doesn't help that I find her very bad as an actress. Annoying voice with no life in it...

Maybe lonely women with many cats find her charming.

@PenttiLinkola23 Yeah, the writing didn't really help her at all but I agree, I didn't like her as an actress either. I always felt she had botox in her face and that was why only the bottom half of her moved. Josh and Donna made such a better couple.
