@ESEPELIGRO that is a good question. I believe things are slightly different in the headlights. The C has a high beam, low beam, and blinker. I think the touring has an additional bulb for the blinkers. You should be able to just remove the extra bulb and use just the single blinker. Just make sure you are using the one that actually blinks. The fogs are just plug and play. The touring fogs housings are just a little smaller that is all. With some creativity they can be used in the C.
@ESEPELIGRO you can use your touring fog lights but they are smaller. I'd get the larger 300C/SRT8 fogs, they will fit better and look better. But yes, the bumper, the headlights, and the fog lights. You might also need to fill the headlight washer hole that is in the bumper. you can buy the nozzles but I think they were like 125 dollars each. I'd just fill them. much much cheaper.
@whitestang99 indeed. I bought them when I bought the grip grille. both came painted. I ended up test fitting them by closing the hood on them to see how they looked. when I popped the hood they slide out and slammed on the ground and the paint was ruined so I had to have them repainted with my spoiler and bumper. in the long run, shouldnt have bought the paint option from vip300 but it wasnt their fault. I like their puddle lights..... it will be the next mod I do.
very cool video.... i wanted to change the rear bumper to a 300 c style i have a base 300 would that be easy? (some one rear ended me and it needs changing anyways)
yeah its gona be a secondary daily driver i thought it would be a bad idea thats why i kept telling that female to give it to me for less like 7 thousand i would buy that i mean i would give the 9500 but its a bad invesment cause like you said if something goes wrong with the electical things umma waste more but im trying to find a 300 with not so many miles still searching i started bidding on ebay on some cars but the bids would go so high for acars that werent even worth the price
@EDGAR15ish... Well the C should have the hemi and leather stock. the nav is like 500 bucks but the 05-07 nav sucked and I prefer the 08+ nav (i've had both). The 22s, cool and all but most 22s on a 300 look horrible. 130k miles kills the deal for me. the car has a lot of electrical components and if something goes out, it will cost you a fortune trying to figure out what is wrong with it. warranty required for me. also, is this a daily driver or a show car for you. daily driver = BAD BUY!!!
@EDGAR15ish ... suggestion for you.... the charger/300/magnum all have exact same interior, the only difference is the body and the door panels inside. why do you want a 300 over a charger/magnum? look on ebay at the magnums. they stopped making them in 2008. you can find one with under 20k miles for around 12k. find a junk yard that has a wrecked 300 and take the front side panels off the car and you can then put a 300 srt8 bumper on your magnum. you will have a 300 str8 with trunk space!!!!
@300howto .... or if you dont like the fact that the magnum is a wagon, go with a police edition charger. It will not have the leather seats but you can get a v8 with low miles in good condition for cheap. If I had to do it all again.... I've dropped about $39k on my car (including the price of the car), I would buy a v8 magnum, put the srt8 300 bumper on it, use the trunk space for a nice stereo, and install an ipad in the dash board instead of a nav unit. that would probably run me $18k total.
@vinnie913 I purchased my HIDs from 3bspec.com but I have been told that HIDgate on ebay is cheaper. It is very easy and plug and play. You use double sided 3m tape and stick the balast somewhere and thats all. They should run you between 25 and 100 dollars depending on who you go with but I have been told they are all the same chinese bulbs. So I'd get two of the 25 dollar ones and if one goes (the balasts go out often) you have an extra set and still paid half of what I paid.
@EDGAR15ish yes. it will. BUT you will need new headlights. you can use your old fog lights with some free (no cost) modification (have to sort of break them, i can explain more if you really do this). You will also need to lift the car in the front enough to get under there with a drill so you can screw the bottom of the bumper into the belly pan as the old holes dont lie up so you need to make new ones....
@iacobusarchaium696 look on ebay. type in "srt bumper" and you will see a bunch for all the dodge/chrysler srt8 cars. this one i purchased from the ebay seller "gotztohavdemnikes" and since i am only about 2 hours away, i went to pick it up from him. i would suggest buying from him as I can vouch for him.
Hey Buddy, Thanks to your bumper removal video i was able to remove and install a new grill to my '97 300c Hemi without any problems. I looked at the airbox silencer and I was not to sure If should remove it since im running the stock airbox/filter. After inspecting the silencer I dont see what It does for the car???? One of the 4 push pins in step 2 under the hood was a itch to get out, so I drilled out plastic pin. Ill go to AUTOZONE for a replacement. But looks sweeetttttttt. Thanks bud.
@th3ha1og0d its a nice upgrade to do that. check your local craigslist. My first touring i did this same thing. found the bumper for 65 locally. already painted to match.
Would it be a good idea to remove the air silencer if I'm keeping the stock airbox?
Do you think there would be any chance of water getting up to the airbox with the silencer removed (I would think the bellypan protects it from splashes etc just want to be sure)
@th3ha1og0d stock air box or not i think its a good idea. i have yet to see any problems with water going up there. my HID ballasts are in the airbox area and they have not gotten wet. i mean you will get moisture and what not but i dont think you are going to get actual water like if you were to take a hose to it. you could also take some screen material and cover the hole with it. this will allow air flow but should catch some moisture.
Considered the Mopar one. But I also find my intake at a third of the Mopar price. I was never planning on doing a CAI but at that price, I couldnt say no. Thank you, I'll post some more. I've done more to the car, I'll have to film some more things.
The mopar intake shaft is metal. The metal in the hot engine bay gets so hot that it actually ends up making the cold air intake into a hot air intake. The plastic AFE shaft gets hot but no where near as hot as the mopar shaft.

@ESEPELIGRO you can. you will have to drill holes into the under side since it won't line up. I had to do the same with mine. very easy. no damage.

but how about a mopar cold air intake instead of a short ram..lol
