jun no one knows if he is dead, because jorge "died" first as bungie would have us think. then kat by a needle rifle to the back of her head, when noble is reordered back to sword base for a demo op noble team consisted of carter, six, jun, and emile. jun went with halsey. carter took out the scarab for emile and six. emile went down on the gun. and six made a last stand against waves of covenant.

well rumor has it tht the spartans from halo wars (douglas, jerome, and alice) are too. and jorge, jun, and dr. halsey are all still alive. jorge bc of the slip space rupture teleporting him to another demension. and jun and halsey escaped reach undetected. so id wager tht halo 4 (which is starting its own trilogy) will tell the story of all the spartans that are still alive and the chief will find them. of course its only rumor and speculation.

@rileyboy10 well first off yes pillar of autumn was the "last" ship to make it off the planet and dr. halsey being the one who knows everything abt the covenant and reach she would know where to go and how to escape. it NEVER mentioned jun or her death and ever since the first halo book halsey has died supposedly more times than the chief. so jorge and jun have a high chance of still being alive just as the chief is.

@rileyboy10 well im just saying that jun was alive at the time auntie dot said that to jorge. and emile six and carter all died. no one knows the outcome of castle base or jun and dr halsey. spirit of fire cpt. cutter said it would take 25 yrs to get back to earth which was in 2531 thus in 2556 they would arive (note a year after halo 3 ended) so halo 4 could be a huge reunion idk though it just confusing.

It has been rumored that Jun is really alive, and it would be cool if he was floating in space, then the beginning in Halo 4 we find Master Chief waking up from crysosleep, and he sees Jun floating out there, and he's been floating out in space ever since Reach, then Master Chief saves him, and they team up ;D lol

Why would Jun be floating in outer space? He never left reach, he took halsey to castle base, from there, its unknown, but theres no reason to believe that he's not alive and fighting until the end of the war, and the next war, depending on when that starts up.
