How absolutely gorgeous... the whole performance was stunning. The Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela with their great conductor Gustavo was so, so good. And that mezzo-soprano Anna Larsson has such a rich and vbrant voice, as does Miah Persson. I loved this performance, and wish I had been able to bo there to hear this work, one of the greatest Mahler Symphonies... It was so uplifting and electrifying. Bravo, and bravo again to the great performers all.

I wish I had money to go to the opera. It is a shame, living in L.A. and not being able to see all this wonderful performances!

@enchiladasqueretanas You CAN afford to attend the Opera and Symphony. Call them tomorrow to inquire about various special unadvertised options i.e Student, Sr Citizen, Standby, Standing Room and if interest for you, a Volunteer position. Rates are usually higher Fri and Sat nights and often these speical lower priced tkts not avail those nights. You CAN afford it and they would LOVE having you. All best, Barbara Todres/NY
