Een dag die ik volgens mij nooit vergeet... ik was nog maar 6 jaar en toch zie ik nog altijd dat vliegtuig naar beneden komen.. We waren nog maar net weg van bij die tent :s

@riotgirl002: Ik ook.. ik was 12 jaar en kreeg krampen in mn benen ongeveer 10 minuten voor de crash. M'n vader en ik wandelden weg en toen hoorden we 't vliegtuig naar beneden komen... ik was misschien ondertussen 300 meter van de crash site maar ik stond vlak ervoor aan het tentje van 't Rode Kruis om naar de concorde te kijken. Daar zijn ook de grondslachtoffers gevallen..... Wat een geluk wij hadden, en jij blijkbaar ook!

Ik heb de Royal Jordanian falcons veel dichtbij gezien toen ze op de grond stonden in kleine brogel op Sanicole airshow.

Deze mannen zijn echt heel profesioneel. En ze praten ook blijkbaar niet veel over het Oostende Incident

ik zat daar ook in de rode kruis tent. we gingen weg en 20 seconden later.... mijn papa heeft het ook gefilmd. ik was toen bijna 3 jaar oud....

I was at this airshow while on holiday with my family. I was in the area where the plane struck about 15 minutes before impact. Very close, but RIP those who didn't make it.

Een schietstoel uit zo'n licht toestel zou van het vliegtuig zelf een projectiel maken,

dat was trouwens ook geen optie omdat de piloot (Omar Bilal) buiten westen raakte door de te hoge G-krachten.

Ik was er zelf bij toen het gebeurde,gelukkig stond ik aan de andere kant...

Machtig zicht. Wij stonden niet op het luchthaven terrein maar op de aanvliegroute voor RWY26. Hij kwam vlak boven ons gevlogen, en alle alarmen van de auto's gingen af :-D

actually that pilot is from the hashemite kindgom of jordan his name is omar bilal! He's an ethnic Circassian. The guy that wrote that "my cousin" could actually be his cousin.. his nickname "adigawe" comes form the word "adiga" which the self designation name for ethnic circassians! so basically "adigawe" and Capt. omar bilal come from the same tribe! and could be related!

I was actualy at the Airshow and saw this crash. I also had the pleasure of knowning Omar. I had met him at a number of Displays and as a fellow display pilot i can say he was a great Pilot, but unfortunately he got i wrong on that day.
