No, the cone is better. It's hard to miss with it, especially in the stress of a criminal attack. The stream is good IF you can hit the eyes with it, which is difficult to do with a wiggly, pencil-thin stream and a moving attacker 5-10 feet away. The guy in this video should have gone down faster, but he not only got a very short blast, he had his eyes squeezed shut.

I few mistakes, never put your face into just a bucket of water. all it does is spread the spray around. Only use a bucket if the water keeps flowing into the bucket. Then like the others said rubbing it is TERRIBLE. I have vids of 4 diff. people being sprayed by the stream, longest person lasted 4min with no assistance from water

Sorry no video but the guy I sprayed with the stream started freaking out and jumping around with the hose shooting in the air. He was totally soaked and it was about 40 degrees outside.

Considering most defensive encounters happen at arms reach, i'll stick with the cone myself,I know from personal and professional experience that it is all to easy to miss with the stream configuration up close and under stress.To each his own...

FOX pray is the best stuff, I use it on patrol and it works really well. Best solution is....Coca Cola. I seen it work personally. The Hospital ER staff learned about it from the secret service. Cleared my Sgt. up less than 2 hrs with no redness.

LOL yeah I've been sprayed with fox and it sucks balls. Nothing you can really do about it except wait for the pain to go away. You should open your eyes and let the air hit them though. And yeah after you initially rinse your face you should avoid water because it reactivates it.
