Derek Rose is really good.. and so is John Wall. Rose is on a better team while Wall is on a really bad team. Talents are identical even though Rose might be faster, John Wall is a better passer especially in traffic. I like them both evenly.

Anybody who thinks John Wall will never be like Derrick Rose are dumb. 2 years older, and Rose didnt dominate his first season. I hate kids who love Kobe(but know nothing about him), love MJ(but know nothing about him), and HATE LeBron James(and yet, he's only 26, and they know nothing about them). Before you jump to conclusions in the NBA, make sure you watch, and know what your talking about...

@TheAudioISDope as a kid whom loves both kobe and mj and respects lebron for his game, i can tell you that lebron will hardly reach kobe's or mj's level... he may get more awards, more hype etc, and definetly retire at worst as a HoF and top 15 at least (for me top 10) but he lacks many things that the other greats had...if you remember young mj and kobe, they were both freak athletes... (less of freight truck like lebron tho) but lebron a good skillset and heart... he fails under pressure :/

@TheAudioISDope yeah, and he must also have a long career! endure hardship... but about what you said, remember that even the goats like kobe and mj had to take their time before becoming good closers... kobe's first year as a closer was horrible, failing one time after another, but then, especially after his 3d year, he became a monster... rose may not be as much as a phenomenon as kobe or mj were, but he has the potential to be great... you never know what happens though!

And in John Wall's rookie season, he averaged 16 points per game and 8.3 assist...Also John Wall averaged 1 more rebound then derrick rose did. Technically speaking, John wall had a better rookie season then Derrick Rose...

D-Rose came into the NBA no where near as good as Wall did. Rookie to rookie i'd give it to Wall at this point. You can't teach speed and Wall will always be the faster of the two. No one knows how fast Wall will progress in his game. Saying either or is better is just your damn opinion with no solid proof behind it.

Being MVP is not just about the player, it's also about the team. Without Tom Thibodeau, Bulls wouldn't be that successful in the regular season and Rose wouldn't be the MVP. Dwight Howard was the best player in 2010-2011 season if you ask me but his team ended up being 4th of the Conference, so he couldn't be the league MVP.

Why does everyone keep comparing wall with rose. compare rose with players like rondo, wall was in high school i little over a year ago. Wall is pass first and faster, Rose has better change of pace, crossover and scoring.

Wall's jumper is not as suspect as it was prior to this past season @ UK, his work ethic is amazing and it has showed. This kid is gonna be a nightmare for opposing PG's this year, but the Wizards still have no chance.
