Actually, Al Zazeera English is available anywhere in the US on IA-5. It is completely Free to Air. Anyone who has a FTA Satellite system (Very Cheap - $170-$400 for the entire system) can see Al Jazeera..

I have about $300 in my system and watch hundreds of stations you can't get anywhere else..

Just checked again. We have a widescreen TV and I think the widescreen effect may have somehow come from that. In 16:9 the Al-Jazeera picture looks stretched, while 4:3 looks pretty good. We usually have it in "Just" which stretches the 4:3 into something that looks like widescreen, and perhaps that somehow affected my DVR/DVD/PC editing process before I could upload.

It looks like real 16:9 widescreen!

At least in Astra 19.2E satellite the broadcast has been in stupid mutant 14:9 aspect ratio, but I wonder is it in 16:9 in some other satellites then?
