  • for your information, any brand of scooter woth 125cc engine can go 7O MPH easily in case the bike is well maintained, and for 250cc engine, 90 MPH or up is possible

  • @99osla haha man your jokes, you would be lucky if your 125 could do 50mph

  • I had this model 20 years ago. The windshield reduced top speed by almost 10 mph. My top speed w/o windshield was around 77 mph, but I got 83 mph with back wind.

  • K got the scooter it carries me very well I only did 65 on the interstate but that was because I was on a test ride and the owner did not want me to take it any faster than 65 it did that from x79 to X29 with me 350 lbs. One problem I didnt get the bike for Istate I got it for city running where I need to ride my daughter every now and then she weighs ~125 that with my 350 the rear tire will rub the fender so I need to find a solution where I can quickly adjust the stiffness.

  • @cdltpx Best thing to do is loose 100 lbs that will not happen overnight. I am thinking of getting surplus air ride shocks that were to go on a cadillac and modifying them to fit the elite so I could adjust the ride with a little spritz of air. I have to know about your camera setup I would love to have that on my bike so I could have record of my riding JIC I am ever in a collision and not able to speak the camera would speak for me.

  • @cdltpx the camera is the "Gopro Motorsports Hero" mine is standard def, but the high def is worth the extra cash

  • @cdltpx Collapsed Length in Inches 14.92 so I would not be able to fit these shocks on the ELITE so I have to locate a set of CB 350 shocks they are on Ebay all day I guess I need to order a set and get them on their way. So anyone thinking of putting a set of adjustable air shocks on their bike know this a set of cadillac shocks will not fit.

  • @cdltpx common mod for rear suspension is to use a pair of CB350 spring/shock units from the early 70's they have 3 settings for spring stiffness. this will add load capacity, I did it on mine and it supports me plenty on the lowest setting, this mod should take care of the rubbing issue

  • @oellrichm Update pulled the trigger on 1974 HONDA CB350F rear shocks this should fix my issue plan to tear down the bike tomorrow to have it ready for install when the parts arrive.Getting them from a man named Dave on Ebay DavidXR6501 he was there to answer the fon when I called so that is the man I went with I attempted to contact other sellers via email no response so I called this guy he had my order said he is prepared to ship in the AM. I want to do a before after video.

  • Im gonna get one on Wed I doubt mine will do 70 I weigh 350lbs but I bet the wind will not blow me around either.

  • thanks a lot...my neck is bent right side down now!

  • I learned how to ride using the same style scooter. They are FUN! Thanks for sharing :-)
