@hpkntnw Awhile back they made a truck called the lightning bolt which was a ranger with the motor and trans and ofcourse the supercharger from a svt lightning. Ita hade 345 tires in the rear and was rwd. Svt ran it a few times down the drag strip but the truck never went into production. It still is the fastest factory truck made from ford. It was 1200 lbs lighter then the lightning.

Basically stock cobras can trap up to 120 mph. The only thing your truck has going for it is an automatic transmission (lol you can't throw a stick) and awd (lol you can't modulate the throttle). Your car is fast off the line and slow literally everywhere else. I hope you enjoy being overtaken by V6 Mustangs on the highway while you struggle to keep up.

Yeah a lot of people make the mistake of thinking the Syclone/Typhoon has the GN motor. However the 3.8 is a Buick motor and the 4.3 is a Chevy and they share absolutely nothing in common.

The 4.3 is heavily based on the SBC 350 and shares many parts.

yep 4.3 and the 350 have the same bore and stroke. The 4.3 is just 2 cylinders shorter. Chevrolet will always be the best, in my book anyway.

@Syclone0044 actually they have some things in common, first off they are both based on V8's, second they are both 90 degrees, third they both are OHV 12V pushrod engines. But that's as far as it goes, the Buick is vastly superior to Chevy however with its deep skirt block and four bolt cross bolt mains, and not to mention a huge supporting after market.

was always my dream truck but if you like the turbo AWD stuff u can get a used stealth TT AWD for 5 to 10 grand now depending on its condition. stealth and VR4 actually made more power with about he same curb weight and had a 5 speed. love syclones but theyre very rare to find next to a stealth or VR4 TT AWD.

I own a Syclone, had a 03 Cobra. The Cobra is just as fast with the right driver. I ran a 11.9 in the Cobra for 500 bucks in mods. The Syclone is extremely expensive to make fast! Both are cool rides!
