If you look back in History, the time people bartared and traded, it went perfectly well up until it came to change. People who sold cows and only wanted maybe, one chicken. Of course, all we needed was the fill in to pay full price. In my opinion, that fill in should be something like, baby animals or veggies, or maybe even eggs. We can do this, we can be ready for the collaps of the dollar if we make a well thought out plan. Bartering can replace the dollar just like the dollar replaced it.
@christo930 Global warmig? not that old chestnut, the globe has been cooling recently and most of you eviroMENTALists are now calling it climate change...........
@erushbass You're joking, right? Where are you getting this information. Even guys like Christi admit the globe is warming and that it is us doing it. Where they disagree is the extent of the warming. Do you believe the navy? They are preparing for global warming. Do you think they are just making it up when they say that we need to be prepared for an ice free summer by the 30's in the arctic?
@erushbass You are asserting something as fact, but can't back it up. Do you honestly think the US navy is "in on the scam"? Check out the last 2 greenman3610 videos, they are of a navy admiral discussing the Navy's study on the bering strait which is the sole entrance to the arctic on the pacific side and how shippers are going to be using that route during the summer. How they are working on navy bases to made adjustments to the sea level rise. Navy admirals are not bleeding heart liberals.
@christo930 One other thing.. I used to be a global warming skeptic, but you know what.. I got tired of finding out that the people on my side (leaders, not the public) were constantly lying. They were lying about their credentials, lying about the science, quote mining, editorializing scientists words and presenting them as quotes, deliberately misleading people. There is so much dishonesty on the skeptic side. The have an agenda and that is more important to them than the future.
@christo930 Funny, I used to think global warming was true, untill I realised it was all a complete con.

@erushbass No, it's not the best I have, it is what I thought you could most relate to. 28-32 oz of un-processed wheat for $60-100? A Denarius is 1 day common laborer's wages about $8/hr in USA -- Revelation 6:6 - KJV: And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. - NASB: I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A choenix[1] of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’t damage the oil and the wine!”
And... you are on point these days... thanks for making (what i believe) are accurate statements about what people need to do... local economies need to come back... local food....
STOP building these insane, dispace, disgraceful, disgusting car-dependent cities with the cul-de-sacs, segregation housing subdivisions. parking requirements and lots, big box stores, collector roads with high street dimensions, all the other coded crap nonsense!!
This insanity in these cities was driven by laws and codes, not freedom!!
Fight for market-oriented mixed-use. diverse, and walkable urban areas!!
Big box stores = effiecient, therefore cheaper & less wastefull.
Segregation housing subdivisions = Not sure what you mean, but I probably wont like it.
Car dependant=Well the car is the very embodiment of Freedom, and one of the greatest inventions ever, I dont see how making everybody walk is a good idea, If they want to there are pavements.
Whats disgracefull or discusting about a city that allows its citizens to travel quickly and easily?
Wait.. first off all.. Are you getting your facts and BS info from those cock-headed lobbyists Randal O'Toole and Wendell Cox who lobby for those corporate big-box, fast food, oil, cement, asphalt, and car companies?
Those car-dependent cities were NOT highly influenced by the free market.
They were done by the codes, regulations, and subsidies to create an auto-dominant lifestyle! Wake up! Did you see my 1st comment? Have you ever heard of the Interstate Highway Act?
@Cyrus992 Well, nice to see you wasted half your reply accusing me of being a shill, and no, ive never even heard of those people you mention.
Pherhaps you could explain, given as economy of scale is the one of the most basic factors of the free market, why a big box retailer isnt more efficient, therefore cheaper & better?
Are you seriously trying to tell me that the car was forced upon us?
That is without a doubt the stupidest thing ive ever heard.
suppose the horse and cart was too, along with the massive social and economic benefits they brought over walkinIg everywhere and not being able to transport goods eficiently?
You do realise most of the roads used for the first 80years of the car were originally horse and cart tracks, which in turn where formed by free men walking & using carts wherever they deemed them nescessary, with practicly NO regulation?
Still, as I said before, if you want to walk, along with the other shitmunchers youre welcome to, but I (and practicly everbody in the western world who isnt a loser) will drive thanks, & while Im sitting in comfort being effortlessly powered across town, ill spare a though for all those lucky shitmunchers who havent had a car "forced" on them.lol.
Every developed nation is constantly expanding its road network to try to keep up with the MASSIVE demand for the car.
In many ways yes, The auto-dependent landscapes in our cities were manipulated by codes and zoning laws in a way that everytime you get outside the house, you have to drive when you have to do simple errands even if you don't want a car...
Now when we are crybabies to oil producing areas even we desperately need to do even a simple thing like buying a loaf of bread, the rises in oil prices are going to sluaghter this insane car-dependent lifestlye that was forced with codes.
Over here in the UK practically every law regarding the car is to try to control & ration its use, because, if there is a problem with the car, it is that it is a victim of its own success.
You may think over there balance is in favour of the car, but in the UK many of our cities where built before the car was invented, so no consideration was given to the car as far as building regulation codes was concerned.
Well I don't support any regulations that reduce car-use. I understand that some benefit from driving.
I am just against regulations that make car-usage the ONLY suitable transporatation option due to zoning laws and codes even though people don't want or can't have or drive a car. People want transporation choices and dont want to be so isolated from their shopping, offices, and other daily needs.
So when oil prices climb, at least people cant walk to the produce store.
...The process of growing your own food is work, you will have successes and failures, but, the harvest to your plate is much more appreciated and so better tasting.
We, as a people have forgotten the ways of old it seems, though not all. Those thoughts are re-kindled here.
go back and you see in times like this people have always cut back on what they use and buy,in ww2 it was suger a house hold could only buy 1 bag per week or something like that,if people would cut back just a little on everything we would not be in this problem and if everyone one grew food they would not have this problem so no matter what happens its everyones fault and its only thier own fault they are to strugle and thats just reality so stop or dont complane
Very good video! I can buy and send packets of heirloom seeds from France. It is legal. I just include the receipt and double the price of the item and the postage. I can be paid in USD or euros or even barter. Thank you, Daniel, very good vid. I would say to everyone, learn how to sprout alfalfa at home now, it is fun and the kids like it, and get your garden ready, it is good exercise. Please keep up the good work. It can be fun to compost and I grow crops on windowsills here.
I have to mention the fact that there are tons of pollutants in the atmosphere and if people don't find a way of shielding their gardens, they mise well just buy the frankenfoods. The aluminum and barium content found in the soil finds its way into the food and the body. I suggest people with gardens building a green house of sorts, or at least enough to deflect airborn particulates from getting into the soil. Good video Daniel!
@6503mike...Standard Oil was a US Company...Think bigger...OPEC.... Suez Canal...Keep watching the Muslim Brotherhood and it's influence within Egypt...
You lost me with Glenn Beck, like this guy has any credibility. Do you honestly think there is a chance that the Suez Canal is in danger of being taken over and controlled by extremists? One food company controlling the rights for genetically modified food? It will never be possible, look at standard oil being broken up years ago for a monopolizing such an industry. Against the law and completely laughable
@Gyva02 I can send you some from France. It is legal. I only deal in small quantities, however. My website is cutecatfaith d com. Remember, never have any creme on your hands when you handle the seeds or they will not germinate.
And deeeeeeen....... They pass the "Safe food bill" to stop people from being able to trade home grown food among their communities. You can grow and eat your own, good, yes. But I'm not sure I trust what "big brother" and it's lynch men would do if I was caught??
inflation has eaten, not ate. Also your pitcher may vary...my picture is pretty clear. Okay, your next English lesson is whenever you need it...always.
I don't like monsanto and the evil motives. i wish there was some way to legally get rid of this company and others like them. they have too much power and they are in bed with the gov't. makes me wonder if later we will have no choice of what to eat and we will be poisoned.
The elite could be manipulting food prices in order to cause destabilization in regions in which they want to seize power. I am worried they will install their puppets like they've done here in the U.S. The fact that Egypt is the portal, through the Sueze canal, to our oil suppliers, is not merely coincidence. The new systems and leaders of these middle eastern countries will need to be scrutinized heavily prior to being selected...It seems a slower, more methodical selection would be wise.
four tweezy? has someone been tokin' on the ole' herb? just kidding man. IMO there is no shortage of food. But there is a shortage of people who can afford that food. Exporting inflation to countries like egypt (where most live on $2/day) is akin to genocide
It's time we all stood shoulder to shoulder on this, we need to put our racial, religious and any other dividing issue to a side and see what they have been doing, they have used the old divide and rule trick on a monumental scale. It's time to WAKE UP and fight back.
Let's BURN down the Monsanto HQ. Don't forget to arm machine gun as well.

@nvsyru You're theoretically correct but with increasing automation and increasing population, what exactly is the catalyst for an increasing valuation of labor? Here is a way to cut down on oil use:
STOP building these insane, dispace, disgraceful, disgusting car-dependent cities with the cul-de-sacs, segregation housing subdivisions. parking requirements and lots, big box stores, collector roads with high street dimensions, all the other coded crap nonsense!!
This insanity in these cities was driven by laws and codes, not freedom!!
Fight for market-oriented mixed-use. diverse, and walkable urban areas!!
Cyrus992 1 year ago 17
@Cyrus992 correct they are not user friendly you need a car and that is wrong.

@erushbass
What sounds awful?
Cyrus992 11 months ago
@Cyrus992 Everything your proposing.
Whats disgracefull or discusting about a city that allows its citizens to travel quickly and easily?
erushbass 11 months ago
@erushbass
Wait.. first off all..
Cyrus992 11 months ago
@Cyrus992 Well, nice to see you wasted half your reply accusing me of being a shill, and no, ive never even heard of those people you mention.
Pherhaps you could explain, given as economy of scale is the one of the most basic factors of the free market, why a big box retailer isnt more efficient, therefore cheaper & better?
Are you seriously trying to tell me that the car was forced upon us?
That is without a doubt the stupidest thing ive ever heard.
erushbass 11 months ago
suppose the horse and cart was too, along with the massive social and economic benefits they brought over walkinIg everywhere and not being able to transport goods eficiently?
You do realise most of the roads used for the first 80years of the car were originally horse and cart tracks, which in turn where formed by free men walking & using carts wherever they deemed them nescessary, with practicly NO regulation?
erushbass 11 months ago
Still, as I said before, if you want to walk, along with the other shitmunchers youre welcome to, but I (and practicly everbody in the western world who isnt a loser) will drive thanks, & while Im sitting in comfort being effortlessly powered across town, ill spare a though for all those lucky shitmunchers who havent had a car "forced" on them.lol.
Every developed nation is constantly expanding its road network to try to keep up with the MASSIVE demand for the car.
erushbass 11 months ago
I see youre 18, fresh out of school, with a head full of rubbish.
Still theres time for you to wake up yet.
"A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself on a bus can count himself as a failure." - Margeret Thatcher.

erushbass 11 months ago
@erushbass
Cyrus992 11 months ago
It sounds like you live in utopia.
Over here in the UK practically every law regarding the car is to try to control & ration its use, because, if there is a problem with the car, it is that it is a victim of its own success.
You may think over there balance is in favour of the car, but in the UK many of our cities where built before the car was invented, so no consideration was given to the car as far as building regulation codes was concerned.
erushbass 11 months ago
The result is a narrow, winding, totally unsuitable road network, that is a complete danger/ inconvinience to both drivers & pedestrians.
Dont you guys have local convienience stores?
It cant be that anti pedestrian can it?
erushbass 11 months ago
PS I dont see why the US cant drill its own oil, or develop natural gas(of wich I heard you have lots of).
erushbass 11 months ago
PPS Petrol in the UK is currently around $8 per US gallon, and a whopping 85% of it is tax!!!
erushbass 11 months ago
@erushbass
