on virtual sailor, you can walk around on deck. you can also create heavy waves, thick fog, and even lightning. i bet you cant set the camera to a remote view on ss..or play multiplayer with other people. can you even add ships? Jesus, if you can't, than ss is a piece of shit.

ship simulator causes you to get another graphics card, which i find suckish. but on the other hand, virtual sailor dosent require all that nvidia technology, and you could just run it. the graphics on ss just make your pc lag more and makes it more internally sophisticated. vs has simple graphics and dosent pose as a fancy program also, vs doesnt lag your pc. so i prefer virtual sailor.

The ship surfaces and textures are much smoother in Ship Simulator but the water in VS s fantastic when you edit the settings. So when you add up the scores, both games are just as good as each other.
The main thing is this: Does SS allow users to add their own built ships or not? U see with VS you have this ability and also u can easily tweak the characteristics of every single ship...
hey i can help you add smoke from the funnels just go into your boats file and if you have the britannic then go into that and copy smokes then move the copy to your titanic file!

Another "blooper": in the film Titanic flankes the fishing boat by her starboard, not by her port side, and I think by more close distance, to make the dimension of Titanic evident. (the scene was produced digitally, in reality the boat would have capsized after Titanic passage so close) :-D

Hi Jack :) Yes. SS is more deteailed, but in Vs you can go underwater etc. So the Titanic model in Vs has good points aswell as the one in SS :) SA
