She is amazing. I used to be a gymnast and I would throw aerials on the concrete and people would stare at my mom like she is crazy for letting me do that. But once you learn it you can do it just about anywhere. So @scapesmgt its really a natural thing for Sage.

I used to be like that when I did gymnastics. Not quite as advanced though, I'd do random back handsprings and aerials on concrete. She is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe you let her do that on concrete? I'd hate for all yalls hard work to be shot bc of an accident of her doing tricks on concrete. Two years ago my daughter was playing on our household tramp. One slight misstep sent her to the hospital. We thought she was paralyzed. Extremely frightening! Tramp was taken down that day. From then on we leave gym activities in the gym. Not trying to criticize. Just want you to be aware of the dangers. Seeing this video brought back horribl

@scapesmgt I know it might be hard for some people to understand, but doing a front aerial/side aerial/bhs, for Sage, is like walking or skipping to the rest of us. She does it wherever she goes, it is second nature and in her blood. I would never let her try new skills or speed tumbling on concrete. I am actually a very protective, paranoid mom with all of my kids.

You are right about gymnasts. When I was ten I decided to do a back walkover on a nine foot wall next to our swimming pool. I had climbed onto it from a tree branch. My mom had a heart attack, but I did it perfectly. After that I had to promise my mom I would stick to three feet or smaller walls. ;-) Flipping was natural, I did it at the mall, at the beach, anywhere I could. You have a very talented daughter!
