  • im so sad...:(

  • From 0:00 to 0:06, it sounds like the rock beat of a small Casio keyboards that I had when I was like 6 years old!

  • A+ Class 1 top notch A-hole !!

  • yep he defiantly wants a mac

  • Dude GET A LIFE!!!

  • Aww, i love these Toshibas! I got a 430cdt, 460xcdt and another one, i forgot what type. They still work, although one of them has a vertical line on the screen that changes if you press the sides of the screen.

I just did some internet browsing with Internet Explorer 5.5 and Windows 95 on the 430cdt.

  • @HP100ify An old UMAX parallel port scanner.

  • @vwestlife is this /watch?v=zbcshrOrnvA the laptop you destroyed

  • @Gatewayuser200 No, that's the 410CS, which I still have. This is the 440CDX, as I wrote in the description.

  • @vwestlife oh my bad

  • was that your old laptop what you have shown in a other vid???

  • Don't do that to any computer again. If you want a computer. Give it to me because even if it's old I still use it and treat them with care like a son

  • ich weiss immer noch nicht , was er damit bezwecken will , ein gebrauchtüchtiges notebook zu vernichten !!!

  • this makes mmee soo angry!!! im glad i do not do that with mij old toshiba from 1997

  • why... why... WHY???

  • Incredibly durable compared to modern laptops

  • Toshiba are the best, Always made well!

  • Has it one of those old Slow Screens inside when you move the mouse that you

see more as one mouse errow?

  • @uhudmen yep! I wouldnt destroy any laptop.... well yee... once when my IBM t22 died I spent 60 bucks on it but it was totally dead and all of my stuff was lost.... it had a fly out of da windows though.... but working computers does not deserv this!!!!!

  • tonto tonto tonto tonto tonto x500000000

  • man, my 4gb ide laptop hdd would have been perfect for that machine.... poor thing, but anyways funny vid ;)

  • ahhh e ti diverti anche ...bravo! quando non si ha niente da fare

  • My specific laptop is drop proof. The hard drive is a tradition hard drive moving part not SSD. When it experience a drop it automatic lock no harm done only the case though.

  • @bslgeorge stf up

  • Wow that thing really took a beating before it died. If only today's laptops were like that.

  • What a waste of a poor old but still really cool laptop. Go and fuck your self!!!!!!!!

(i would had paied 50 fucking dollars for it)

  • @izedawidka If you'd pay $50 for a 12-year-old laptop with no hard drive, no CD-ROM drive, and no battery, then you're out of your mind!

  • @vwestlife with no hard drive it cant load windows but it writes windows 98 in the vid, and I have bunch of old players and batteries. I could even fixed it up 4 u! Anyway sorry 4 my dry style but these things makes me angry. Someone would give his half ball 4 a pc like this and u destroye it..

anyway its ur pc and its too late to discuss about this... :/

  • @izedawidka I put a spare hard drive in it to get it to load Windows, then took it out once it reached the splash screen.

  • @izedawidka i know right, but i wouldnt have payed $50 more like $30

  • That held up pretty nicely, try that with a new Toshiba Satellite and it would've been destroyed on the first drop!

  • i know y old laptops are better than new ones because they try to make new ones all thin like the mac book air

  • the song is so appropriate

  • Slams the bitch

  • now that's what i call "A System Crash"! haha! :)

  • @JohnnyJ2x44 lol

  • @JohnnyJ2x44

    XD

  • AHHAHHAHha

  • I've had a few of these over the years. dropped, kicked, run over and nothing killed them, ever.

Made much better then todays stuff.

  • IT guy: whats wrong with your laptop again?

    you: it crashed.

  • it crashed

  • LOL. I smashed an old alarm clock once just because I could and it was so much fun. I should have filmed it.

  • I have a Toshiba satellite, dif model, and when a dog jumped on it the LCD screen broke.

  • I wish they made laptops today that could stand up to this kind of abuse. 3:15 thats what my PSP's screen looked like before I replaced it.

  • *thunk*

Laptops today really are weak. Old laptops (noticeably Toshiba and IBM ThinkPad) tend to stand up a lot better than newer stuff.

  • Yeah, but would you still want to pay $5,000 for a laptop?

  • This one was not nearly that expensive. I have some old catalogs I could look it up in, but I'd guess this 440CDX sold for around $1500 when new. A top-of-the-line model with built-in webcam probably sold for $3000 or so (yes, Toshiba had a laptop with a built-in webcam in 1997!).

  • @linuxlove4004 especially the new toshiba laptops, they don't make them like they did 15 years ago, even my 10 year old toshiba is tougher than a almost new 2007 toshiba.

  • wth windows 98?

  • poor laptop...i think a parent of mine had one like this in the last century :-) and was so funny to play old games with that lol the hard disk noise was incredible!!!

  • that poor laptop

  • hahah hey can i join you wen you smash something else?

  • let me tell u if i did that to my toshiba everything would be gone out of it i wish they still made pcs with that msucle

  • nice. patsy cline's "fall to pieces" great song. that is a tough laptop compared to newer laptops. i see a hoover constellation like the one i just got under your table.

  • Now that's a tough laptop! The music goes nice with your video.

"Oops, the power cord came off" :-)

  • You should have removed your floor mats first . Your need for a little destructive outlet today must have reverberated all the way to the midwest. Probably at the same time your Toshiba hit the floor, my cell phone accidently hit the floor. After that it read no service and had a blank blue screen. 30 seconds later it came back on working ok. Good thing I was in no mood to buy a new cell phone. A little plastic glue took care of a small crack.

  • anything with Windows 98 needs to be smashed lol

  • @wilkes85 no anything with windows me needs to be smashed... 2nd option: windows xp/7

  • @kbhasikevin yes anything with windows me needs to be smashed

  • @wilkes85 Windows 98 is awsome i have it the only bad thing it ever did to me is when i was little it crashed my laptop fan and my dad had to put windows 2000 on the laptop since after the reinstalation of it it wouldnt find the drivers but that laptop was crap anyways i recently tried reinstaling it on the laptop and it took half an hour to boot but i still like 98 cuz its on desktop so its faster

  • @wilkes85

that offends windows 98 fans, and im one of them

  • @the747videoer

    Me too

  • Like a lot of things, computers aren't as tough as they used to be.

I probably would've saved that laptop and fixed it up if I could, but that was entertaining to watch!

  • I bought it as a junker many years ago with no drives, no battery, and no power adapter. I installed a hard drive and rigged up a power supply and used it for about a year, but now I have several newer, fully complete laptops -- and with only 16 MB RAM, this one really wasn't useful for anything anymore.

  • @vwestlife

Wow, what os can even run with that little memory 0_o

  • At least the display managed to stay uncracked and working for a while. I wasn't as lucky with my laptop.

  • Built like a tank!

  • Throw it over ur head and just go SMASH!!!!

  • throw it harder

  • What a waste. lol

  • I noticed the song playing in the background - "I Fall To Pieces"...LOL

  • I bet dropping a modern Toshiba laptop would shatter into many pieces and crash the hard drive on the first drop.

  • I like old laptops more, they were more durable.

  • LOL! I know all about dropping laptops.... the new ones have nothing on that brick, well maybe the unibody macbook pro

Your lucky I replaced my blue intro with the sexier one or I might have flagged this video for budget copyright violations haha

  • At least my intro isn't hiding something... :-P

This laptop was actually quite light, since the battery, CD drive, and hard drive were all missing when I got it.
