When I read about the movie producers and how they treated these African actors, it really hurt. They got them from a kind of reservation and paid them hardly nothing.  I hope they didn't do this to N!xom. Probably got that wrong. He's the hero and I sure hope he's been treated humanily. This redention I like. As much as the producers think we know nothing and are children.This woman goes through this whole thing in heels. A quote about Giner Rogers comes to mind. "Backwards and in heels."

Yes they most certainly are actors, though the culture is real for the film they were acting, at this point in time (when the film was made( the kung(bushmen) were treated rather like slaves, it was true that they were undisturbed until about 1950, but the people in this movie were a generation away from teh 'primitive way ofr life'.
