Hip, groovy and rocks!!! Loooove this version!!!! As an acoustic number it really highlights the fantastic rhythyms....and the sax... wow!!! It's "bare bones" feel holds up musically to anything being done currently by anyone--- Love you Bunnymen, Thank you !!!
If you like this then you will like the band I manage, The Ran-Tan Waltz.. Hyped by NME, major support slots last/this year, 2 big London shows coming up in April. New EP released on Philophobia Records etc... Vids on the youtube profile x
Was this filmed at 'BRIANS CAFE'...Where you had to get your card stamped for 'A CRYSTAL DAY'..tour,as well as other notable places in that there 'LIVERPOOL'..La...looks like it!!!
Is being rude about U2 now considered one of our democratic duties? Or do people just like a big fat easy target? Never mind all that, bring on more Bunnymen!
Nice one for posting this and all the other vids Dr Cheese. You are a true Bunnyman. There was a Chinese fella who sang in the Play At Home program...any ideas what his name was??
I have to giggle at all the U2 hate on Bunnymen videos. U2 were really alternative cool in the beginning, actually. Anyone who writes their own music and has a go is alright in my book.
I'm sorry, or i loose my passion for EATB or something tells me that they are not inovators anymore. Is just a feeling. May be i'll listen one day. But i don't feel theyr way anymore because they have none.
am an avid admirer of this groups work.have been a fan for 28 years.i too am a born and bred Scouser and i'm very proud that this band comes from my home-town.stunning sound.thanks DrCheese for this video.
I haven't been up to 'Villiers Terrace' in a while, but I love the Bunnymen, love Shankley, love Fagan, and love Paisley. What a band. Up the Mac. Up the 'Pool.
They were so good!

@Nothefaceyoubitch
'they wouldn't even let us film on the Kop, what a bunch of turds hey'
The Kop is / was a very famous terrace for spectators at Liverpool's stadium Anfield.

What happen to the Echo and the Bunnymen?
They used to be my prefered band.
I lost their trace.
My first LP was heaven up Here.

They're still around. New LP "The Fountain" should be released this year. Not really the same music than back in the 80ies though, but still nice.
