  • Selling my ipod touch 4g for this phone :)

  • i think the reason your phone battery is dropping because of your backround.

  • @SpecOpsAgent10 It's true live backgrounds consume battery life, even if it's not currently displayed on the screen it still continues to run in the background. I however enabled it only for the video to show the fluidity of the processor.

  • im thinking of buying one does anyone think i shouldn't

  • i checked the hd box on here and it said your camera sucks, just fyi

    Boost or t mobile?

  • @chuntii1 It's Boost (;

  • @chuntii1 boost.

  • where did u get that cool screensaver

  • @kayla25001 Android market. Check the live wallpaper section, it comes right up.

  • Excellent video review; this is to be my next phone. My only 'gripe' (putting it harshly) is that you mention multiple resets and freezes, but I assume that would happen with Android phones/apps freezing and force closing. My first Android was a HTC Hero. Also, you talk about battery life, but based on this video, you're using a fully animated Live Wallpaper, and I know that those alone are battery hogs. With all things that are "running" turned off, your battery could last for the day.

  • At the end you said "mket2005 signing off" when your username says "mket2006", lol. Besides that, I love the phone, and I love the video! I'm glad I clicked the link

  • @slicdeath You're absolutely right! I forgot for a minute what site I was using. I'll have to work on more elaborate "easter eggs" in the future :)

  • Thanks Alicynwashere! I have had a radio show in the past. Lately I've been more involved in movies and tv and most recently, phone reviews. Glad you liked my review :)

  • @mket2006 You're very welcome!! :D

  • Your voice! Haha You need to be on the radio..:)

  • my friend has this phone and im getting it but my friend has dropped it several times and it dosnt even have a scratch on it

  • IDK bt did he trip any1 out when he said get ready to throw away thoses tight jeans lol!!!! And btw im gettin diz phone in like @ weeks i hope its as goo as everyone says it is.

  • Is anyone experiencing long delays with text and SMS messaging being received? Not sure if this is a problem with the device or with the carrier.

  • Boost replaced my phone and I'm still have multiple resetting issues with the replacement phone, sometimes every 5 minutes when I am using it and once every few hours all on it's own. The phone completely locks up and reboots. It's very frustrating. Maybe the problem lies within an app or the phone's firmware.

  • @mket2006 Had the same problem. It was actually the ID packs that were causing the problem.

  • @cody3897 You might try a small piece of electrical tape over the light sensor just to the left of the earpiece. That should trick the light sensor into thinking its in a dark environment.

  • @nolaniztweety. One thing i would like to suggest that might help would be a full device restore. It seems to provide some relief to the frustrations of constant resetting and unresponsiveness and it is more effective than an OS restore. Boost told me they are aware of the defective devices and are accepting returns. For device restore, power up while holding volume down key and power. It will wipe your device back to factory settings, but it will be more useable while you wait on a replacement.

  • is there any other way to keep the buttons lit while the backlight is still on?

  • damn you kinda picky dude

  • go check out knoxville363 his videos are more info the reason i think he got so much problems is he got that background and look at all his apps he got

  • I may have gotten one of the very early production models. The phone sometimes resets every 15 to 30 minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

  • @mket2006 I don't have that problem with my phone and I bought it 5 days after came out, one thing about the battery problem I downloaded Juice Defender and let me tell ya, it works at least for my phone and I use it a lot.

  • @mket2006 Yes, I do especially if I am using a app like facebook or angry birds. I either freezes or just blackout and eventually shuts off. Tomorrow, I will call boost to possibly get another phone.

  • theres a kitty lmao ... that shit was funny keep replaying that part lls

  • try changing the background, that might be what is sucking the battery power

  • how did you get the smooth back for your phone? i thought it was rough

  • Ur voice sounds like a commercial voice :D

  • Thanks rangdrol. Covering up the light sensor does in fact cause the 4 buttons to light. I did not find any shutter sound options but if you mute the ringer, that should also mute the shutter sound. I have not seen any buffering delays or image distortion yet on this phone. Installing juicedefender and switching to static wallpapers did help the battery life somewhat. Also, I'm using swiftkey X instead of the stock keyboard in this video.

  • Nice review. Cute kitty. Some things I'd add:

    - You can cover the proximity/ambient light sensor, top left of the earpiece/speaker on the front with your finger and the buttons will light up

    - The stock keyboards suck, but you can download the swype "beta" from swype.com

    - My screen calibration seems a little off. Settings/display/calibration should fix it but I haven't gotten around to it yet

    - No front facing camera, but that's a small sacrifice

I like it better than my Evo 4G

  • The live wallpaper is the battery vampire.

  • Great video, only one question does the phone buffer often when you play youtube, or flash video sites like msnbc, or cnn, while your on 3g.

  • Yea it actually does it has 3 different shutter options

  • Is there a shutter sound option on the camera?

  • 1st comment ;)
