hard drive don't seem to last they keep braking such as Seagate FreeAgent 1.5tb & 2tb TERRIBLE.it started making clicking noises and stopped working 5 got replace in less then 6 months.I want to get Small claims court going against Seagate.I was Hooking the Seagate FreeAgent to WD TV LIVE to I could watch tv.but one thing I was upset with WD tv live was it did not have a Netflix App and then they came out with Wd Tv Live Plus so now I have to buy a new one.Seagate & Western Digital 2 companys

@camboy1132 Consumer hard drives are manufacted to sell for the lowest price. There are much better quality drives if you are willing to pay for it. See Seagate cheetah drives and raid arrays. When you are only paying $99 or less per terabyte You had better buy an extra drive. Use it to back up the primary one very often and store somwhere safe from vibration and impacts. Carrying around your laptop while the drive is running will shorten it's life considerably via the click of death.

I'm not sure that there's much to be excited about if you're a consumer, however if you have stock in Apple, get excited, you're about to make some points.. The price point is what's exciting for the new ATV. @ 99$ It puts it in the hands of a LOT more people.

However, for those who already have a last generation AppleTV you can already stream all content to your ATV from itunes without using the Apple TV's HDD. Also you could patch your OS to include things like netflix, boxee, XBMC & NitoTV
