I play tenors for this cadence at my high school and the tenor part is a little or intense. Instead of flams we use 16th notes and ad the accents sounds a little more cool and it had a different grove. Bass drums did ok just prob marking time right in the begging will help a lot:) I'm also a sophmore

I might have post our version up like this to see if ours is better which i know it is, But yea get new bass' cause they sound bad and you snare player on the right needs to hold his left hanf correctly playing those rim clicks.

is the snare on the lefts drum supposed to bobbing like that? and your basses sound like shit. i hope you guys have some other cadences besides that because this ones so easy and you cant even play it clean.

That gets to me when people insult others when they dont know what they talkin about. i cant say you suck or watever, you might be real good, i dont know. but im sayin that nobody on this drumline sucks or deserves to be down talked

ay well look im from portsmouth and i heard many drumlines from around this area and yall dont look or sound good im in a community band in portsmouth called new generation and we got kids in elementry skool dat can chop yall up and play yall own cadences better than yall so i say yall suck....ass
I've actually jammed on guitar in my house to this drum line a few times when they've practiced in the parking lot before the gig. Tight beats yall. Makes me proud to have gone to Green Run class of 2000.
im one of the snare players in this video. thats only one of the about 15 cadences we play every night. we got hired by the city to play at the beach throughout the summer. its a 25 minute show. this is only an extra small portion of it. noone on our drumline likes the cadence, but our supervisor tells us to play it because the crowd will recognize it and come to watch. we were also missing our first bass player and another cymbal player.
we record every show the whole thing. the thing is that its 25 minutes long and takes extremely long to upload on my dads computer. haha. so he broke it up into tiny parts. this was just the test video to see if he could actually get it to work. other ones will be up soon. were still tryin to trim the videos up.

1) tenor gut is too fat and it pushes the harness out at an angle
2) we dont want to do the samething as everyone else so we changed the part
3) muffling bass drums dosent work, they were muffled and the foam fell off
4) snares are 18 years old, all the drums are 18+ years old.
