@WhateverrMann That's what people do when they're happy. They celebrate. People are happy to have hockey in Winnipeg It was simply an afterthought for most people, the mayor included, in Atlanta.
@BlackHawksSuckDick You avoided the main arguement in the post, about how Winnepeg being hypocrites. But I didn't say that we wouldnt go because we didnt have a good team, the true fans went as with any hockey team, but it was the ownerships job to give us proper oppertunities to make a great team and draw in the non-hockey fans.
@BlackHawksSuckDick And with the right ownership, this team could have thrived, and when you see the sold out games during the playoffs, that could have happened a lot more.

But when they found out they were getting our team they paraded the streets and were so happy and they seem to have forgotten that not too long ago their team was taken from them, and they couldn't realize that the Atlanta fans are going through as much pain as they were. The owners did run them in the ground, by letting Waddell screw the team over, and by not giving them the proper oppertunities.
I'm only 14, and I can remember being a Thrashers fan since the very first game. That was 12 years ago. Well, maybe I can't remember that, but I know I was a fan because my father would still take me to games then. Anyway, losing a team is never fun. I just can't believe that Winnepeg would take someones team after someone took their team, and they went through all of that pain.

Im 16 and i've been a thrashers fan for about 10 years. Its sad. I remember when they still wore the old Robbin jerseys... good times.
