  • My... my... my...

    pretty legs... eh...?!

  • Reminds me of A.M.radio and Casey Kasem.

  • @CoachDave1957 Yes and WLS Chicago and KXOK St. Louis.

  • love the violins in this song. wow!

  • Philly's pride and joy. Along with Patti LaBelle, First Choice, MFSB......the list goes on and on.

  • it looks like the 58 people that dislike this video are all in the audience.

  • Great, tight harmony from 3 classy ladies of the pre-disco era.

  • That color of skin... Oh God.. save me free!... What a memories of my teens!

  • lip syncing at its finest

  • What a great voice!!!

  • I hope everyone watching this knows a very hot Three Degrees performance can be seen in the movie THE FRENCH CONNECTION (1971) Really.

  • Just frg'n amazing...!!! What angelic women & sound!!! Such a touching song with emotive expression.!

  • love this song....3 angels singing this song

  • I can't get enough of this music....classic, CLASSIC, CLASSIC. Today's music can't touch this!!! God given talent and not wasted....this is the top of the world music. I hope these women know how much I appreciate what they had and still have....so sad about Yvette. I've never seen or met her but I miss her! :(

  • A really great song. Three gorgeous, classy ladies!

  • Gonna send this to my daughter as a joke to make her visit hehe . I love this song.

  • i meet a girl in san francisco and then she became my girlfriend we were having so much fun, and i move to another city , and i just wonder when will i see you again ,my beutifull heather.thank you for post this video.easymusic 36.peace.

  • The girl I loved in 9th Grade but I didn't tell her. When will I see you again? Never, I guess,

  • Oh yeah...High school...A not so pretty girl who liked me used to ask me, "When will I see you again?" 1974. I used to avoid her everytime I would see her coming. Wherever she is now I hope she is well.

  • One has to remember this was the early 1970s and music was really mellow. Does anybody remember that God-awful song "Feelings?" Bread, The Carpenters, Olivia Newton-John, Gordon Lightfoot, Dan Fogelberg, Elton John, etc. all had those soft rock sounds back then. Plus Europeans are much more reserved and respectful as audiences. This was also a TV taping and people can be very self-conscious if they know they are going to be filmed. Times were just different back then. Great song, though!

  • I remember this show, does anyone remember what show this was on?

  • W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L SONG ! To the comment below America didn't stop being a nice country, 9/11 happend and G.W.Bush started a fake war in Iraq, they had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 and the war cost 3 trillion dollars (which devastated the U.S.economy), killed a million innocent Iraqi civilians and made the world hate us.

  • When I listen to this song.... I realize that the United States used to be a very nice country........

  • Never see this quality of performing today. Just love it. Love it!! Love it!!!!

  • A beautiful song filled with nothing but questions!

  • @KBOH0301

Yes, questions all us married adults thinking and wishing to see the one from years back whom we really love.

  • Dang, I allways assumed Dian Ross and the Surpremes sang this lovely tune. I had never heard of The Three Degrees, but I have obviously heard their music. What a beautifull song and harmony by three amazingly gorgeous women!

  • Lovely song. I heard that one of them once dated Prince Charles back in the day.

  • very beautiful music indeed, pure and classical

  • This song always causes me to think about my sister, she was alive when this song was popular.

  • where are the mics???

  • @yukons95 It`s called lip sync

  • Divine! Anmd that's a whole lotta wig, y'all. I love the crazy bun lady in the beginning. And LOVE the audience at family-style cocktail tables!!

  • Oh, how I remember those days of young love!

  • I love all three of these ladies, but oh how much I REALLY love Valerie. When I set eyes on my father's LP cover of their self-titled album I was in love instantly. She is just smokin'! And now, even in her 60's she still looks good.

  • what memories and what hot chicks!!!

  • Beautiful sound at the perfect time by perfect beauties, the echoes are timeless!

  • I guess 54 people never shared precious moments

  • @dogboy34 LOL LOL LOL oh that was good. :)

  • I love three Degrees

  • boy i sure hope beyonce' ciara, and all the other female singers of today have seen this so they may know what "CLASS" is.

  • Great song by a great group from Philly.

  • I like the way they spun around.

  • OMG them legzz driving me nutzz

  • Look at the orchestra in the background, it says James Last. I dare to believe this audience is in Germany in 1974 (James Last is the German Ray Connif) - I hope, I am not mistaken. Germans are kind of rigid (no insult); for that reason, you see a static audience (you would not see this type of reaction in Las Vegas or Reno). The Germans have a saying: Andere Laender, andere Sitten (other countries, other customs). And I agree, the three American ladies look gorgeous! Ivan Z from C.V. CA.

  • love this song....brings back great memories from such a great time in my life

  • The audience was instructed by the Director if anyone made any sudden movements their seats would get a shock.

  • I saw Sheila Ferguson at the Cambridge Pantomime on Christmas Eve this year. She was ace. Sang this song. Was epic

  • Precious...moments...:)

  • The audience is thinking "When Is Lawrence Welk Coming On?"

  • bmwflorida@gmail.com

  • When will they compose songs ever like this one again?

  • when w'll i see ya again...loveyouforever................fausniel

  • Beatrix: "When will I see you again?"

Bill: "That's the title of my favorite soul song of the '70's"

  • HAIKU

    I am the ghost who

    slowly circles these fly babes--

    they see me and sing.

  • Remember when black music was beautiful? Nowadays all this Rap and Hip Hop are total garbage. Too bad our youth is totally brainwashed by the corporations to believe this is art.

It's not art is total shit.

  • Comment removed

  • they are memerized is why they are not moveing

  • For anyone who just can't get enough of this white-on-white Wonder Bread audience, there is another song posted from the same show here on YT. "Dirty Ol' Man, 1974" is what to enter and you'll see these brown-sugar babes standing now in their golden dresses. (But not showing as much leg.)

  • @ahalem That was pretty good...;)

  • These babes bring me back to 1974, oh yes, ;)

  • What stupid comments about the audience. Obviously its not a concert, they are more there for ambiance at an obvious lypsinced video shoot. Are they supposed to be jumping up and down on the tables? The director wanted a more sophisticated vibe for this mellow song.

  • When will i see the other leg is more like it!!

  • WoW, this was a great song then and is still a great song.

  • Three ebony angels! So beautiful!

  • That audience was like zombies! If it took place in MSG or the Apollo, they'd have brought the house down!

  • anyone know where this was filmed at

  • I think Fayette is the hottest chick of the three beauties!

  • Secy, smooth and oh so good!

  • Beautiful in so many ways...

  • I love this song and my sisters were working those slits...

  • The audience are sitting at dining tables, which doesn't exactly lend itself to partying, and are no doubt being respectful to allow the recording to take place.

  • Not wishing to reinforce stereotypes, but any German music-show audience seems to have behaved like this in the 70's. Look for vids of a show called Disco: complete inactivity from the neck down. Watch the same song performed (also lip-synced) on the UK's Top Of The Pops and everyone is bopping around happily (albeit inexpertly :-) ).

  • @BobTheMunificent - When I posted the above, WHERE the show took place wasn't a concern (thanks to the all-too-brief description below the action. Amazing! Very very few uploaders to YT bother to list the actual date of the event - something I attribute to U.S. colleges/universities awarding bogus college degrees).

So the "stereotyping" [see excrutiatingly boring NY Times editorials] aspect wasn't in the picture. Nor should it be now. Its an audience. Period!

  • IM IN LOVE

  • Either that audience is made of cardboard or they are stuffed. Come on for goodness sake, its the Three Degrees!!, great song and lovely girls.. although whoever thought it was a good idea to perch them on stools so they look as uncomfortable as the audience?? and yes I know its lip synched and doesnt help either but this song is meant for smooching and swaying about to

  • Wow! What a beautiful song and the women are just plain gorgeous.

  • forever love! tx

  • Also, "kultnacht" means "club night" in German, so not only did that audience have the built-in WWII guilt, but were well into the Cold War era. They knew that they were at the likeliest flashpoint for the ultimate war between the USA and the USSR. With all of that hanging over them, they were just staggered by the privilege of being entertained by these three hot cocoa chicks in gold dresses.

  • this is a great video.I remember when had almost seventeen, thought about a girlfriend of mine, that I will love forever.

  • The audience look bored!! lol

  • like a bird in a cage

  • It''s real subtle, but very cool. A 360 degree no-cut crane shot, with the girls swiveling their stools to match the camera moves.

This screams European TV, and since James Last was from Germany, I'll assume it's from there. Thanks for posting - always loves this song.

  • Everybody, please cut that audience some slack! They are West Germans in 1974, and are probably still feeling guilty about being on the wrong side of World War II. I'm sure that they appreciate The Three Degrees in concert for them anyway.

  • WHOA that chick in the middle makes beyonce look like gabourey sidibe!!

  • I love this video ,it's really great ....... so great that I almost shared it with someone I love very, very, very, much. But i was drunk and I would have had a lot of explaining to do. Maybe someday !

  • @v8foad Haha mate. I'm right there with you.

  • @v8foad i laughed so hard reading your comments...i almost did one too..lol..alcohol brings out the best lover in you..gotta lot of explaining to do..:))do it...

  • loved 70s music so much better than todays excuse for music ,I would include this song in my all time top 10 best songs

  • When will who see you again?

  • dulcedo :)

  • Another great classic from the greatest era in music. Why did the sixties and seventies have to go away????

  • RIP Fayette

  • effortless sung by three ladies...... nice and cool........

  • Simply beautiful

  • just awesome

  • This is for you to watch beyonce, see the talent of real artists how they keep there legs closed as they sit there, no scratch and sniff like you did at the o2 stadium.just real talent and real class.what an amazing song.clean your act up girl and learn some real musical talent.

  • what a knockout song, and the 3 exude such feminine attractiveness, it's an ear and an eye-full. thx

  • THAT is the deadest human audience I have ever seen in 50 years.

The 3 D's could have been received with more a enthusiastic response doing a FUNERAL gig.

  • @7855waldo Las Vegas and Jersey audiences aNo doubt about it.re TOUGH.

  • @Azishome - Get a hold of Bill German's "Under Their Thumb" on Amazon Books -

Great book, has a very funny description of how Donald Trump's purple-haired & gold-chain (ratio of gold to aluminum: 3%-97%) favorite customers at Atlantic City were given free tickets to a Stone concert there (in 1989; the first night they played). It's a riot!

  • @7855waldo I TOTALLY agree! They weren't even clapping at the end. It sounds like a "clap track"! They deserved better than that!

  • @scribe712 - "Clap track!" - Never heard that one before. Sounds like an EKG diagram for a sexual disease...

  • @7855waldo Kraut audiences are like that. Check out the vid of the announcer who can't stop laughing at the voice of the man who was castrated. The audience merely looks angry. Any other group would be out of their seats and booing. Krauts are very ordered. Plus this was a studio audience and the women were lip-syncing.

  • @ThatsMrMoronToYou - Ah! Had I known where the audience was sitting...I get the point. Yes, they are a very orderly people (I recently had a pleasant conversation with a well-informed German lady, now in the U.S., who told me @ her life in Germany, 1950s-60s).

Best, and thank you, you confirmed my suspicion that this was lip-s'ed. I never understood why any group would agree to such an ill-advised, "fake" performance. OK, the audience reaction now is understandable.

  • @7855waldo They only came for the food!

  • @music1831 - Maybe it was the food that immobilized them!

  • @7855waldo You're not lying... if you see some of the other videos of white music performers too, it's the same dead-beat kind of audiences. But trust me, there is one or two others worst than this audience.

  • @alottaUtube - Yes, it sure does beat Altamont (1969)!

Not sure what's better, getting these comments or hearing the 3Ds sing this song one more time.

So many singers/bands/managers/record company assholes ruining things, and this in contrast restores the sprit.

  • @7855waldo well, I mean..look at them. What do you expect? Me, I was going crazy over here...unlike that dry crowd.

  • @polobear1975 - Maybe the music hall of fame could open a new wing, for notably dead audiences. In fact, Cleveland would do perfectly. Same tempo.

  • @7855waldo It looks like a funeral.

  • @WAHOOUPS - The opening act was The Grateful Dead.

  • @7855waldo Ha Ha, you are so funny and right. You gotta understand that was 1974 when white people were so openly racist and here you got 3 drop-dead gorgeous black women that not only can sing but look like 3 sexy goddesses. Those white people are just in shock and those white women know their men got a huge boner under the table, Ha ha.

  • @sigzor302620 - Finally, a decent medical explanation for rigor mortis.

  • @7855waldo looks like an older drunk audience, yes that is too good of song to not be more enthudiastic

  • TRUE..TRUE!!!!...now men and women are whoress....

  • tjhe dislikes must have oatmeal for brain,s. And love rap filithy sicking jungle noise hick music lady ga ga. Dont,t know what true talent class elgance is never will dont,t have the brain power to do it will and never will

  • @cqgmickey: You are blessed with the ability to see what most people can't. All lines have been blurred and this is why there is so much gender confusion these days. People of today don't want to hear anything about what is right they just do what they wanna do. We are reaping the consequences of that today. Women being masculine and men being fem. Total confusion and turmoil is the order of the day. Only a handfull of people can see this, most are blinded by a live and let live mentallity.

  • The Choreography is sickening .. lol

  • Where was this video taped in a 1970's Vegas showroom?... the seating and long tables seem like it.

  • meu Deus que bom encontrar esta joia, saudade da minha juventude

  • Will you just look at all those dead white people in the audience!! Gives a whole new meaning to "no rhythm".

  • class, wow!!!

  • live shit

  • God bless Gamble and Huff. Long live Philly International Records!

  • This is truly talent. This is what a great song is like. Thank you DaOriTruthSeeker. 20111119@0851am Taipei City.

  • These ladies are truly beautiful and so talented.

  • Sexy...

  • ขอบคุณ

  • This song reminds me of my youth way back in 1977. That is when I let the greatest person ever to come into my life, slip through my fingers. Her name was Sanai and she was kind, gentle and very beautiful. All these years I have regreted and had to live with that mistake. I was such a fool then. But friends tell me you became successful. I am glad. It is my deepest prayer that someday you will call me friend once more. That would be my life's great salvation. I leave this up to Christ's hands.

  • nice legs girls still love the song ok

  • I'd like one of them to play on my "one-eyed trouser snake" for just a bit. Holy

    Mama.

  • One of the girls sat on my lap in Korea USO show; Camp Casey. I helped build the stage and passed her make-shift dressing room and we caught eyes as she happed to walk out....later she found me in the crowd; sat on my lap and sang me this song....I about died....she was soooooo beautiful!!

  • I still love this song!

  • the dislikes what swamp did they come form or rock did they crawl out from. This group was total class talent elgance.

  • So Beautiful :)

  • I love this song, makes miss my wife

  • nice share... ; )

  • Dont worry, every thing comes and goes

  • ....well said greenbogy....you know the best time

  • To me, this song was the absolute apex of the Philadelphia sound.

  • I heard this in the movie "can't hardly wait". Ironically, it was near the end.

  • Where are they singing this at ? It looks like an old farts convention.

  • Beautiful, I love this song!!!

  • Magically beautiful... Love this song!

''Are we in LOVE or JUST FRIENDS?''

  • I have loved this record from the first time I heard in in the summer of 1974. Sheila Ferguson is such a talented vocal artist. Do yourselves a favour and listen to 'Heartbroken Memories' from her pre 'Three Degrees' days.

  • @TDSouledOut1 Man you aren't kidding. My gf posted this on my fb page and I loved it, then read your comment and wow its a GREAT song.

  • Beautiful X 3

  • Love this song, but the video is kinda weird, the audience seems detached from the performance... If I was there , and they were blowin' like that, I would be moving in my seat, swaying,

  • @dgray3746 Too many white people there. lol

  • I'm sure there are more profound and sincere expressions of longing and love in song...but I've never heard them.

  • I thought this was called "Precious Love"

  • @luvthatzeppelin "When Will I See You Again". I remember this song from my teens.

  • I haven't read the alphabet in ages . When will i see U again ?

  • if someone runs into jim tulowetzke from elk river minnestoa plz pass this song on to him with love always sharon xoxo

  • すばらしい曲

  • Singer/Entertainer Shirley Bassey really likes The Three Degrees and they appeared on her TV Variety Show twice. I have uploaded both their 1976 and 1979 appearances. Both clips includes songs from both Shirley and The Three Degrees. Both are rare videos of this great group!

  • my aunt wrote this song, music and all... she was at the time and living with her boyfriend. but when they broke up he forgot to give her one of her boxes back, he eventually found the music and lyrics in this box and then sold it for a good amount of money...true story. love this song.

  • @DaRkBoy007 wow well tell your aunt that this is a beautiful song for me if you would and let her know this song holds deep meaning to my heart.

  • @DaRkBoy007 if you can proof that i would have sued him. very nice song.

  • What kind of pea brained person would even take the time to "dislike" this? Silly internets..

  • I love the subtle turnaround on the stools.

  • @flissyflooable Totally i almost didnt notice it. Of course, that's why you said Subtle

  • There will never be another era as wonderful as the magical 70s! So glad I grew up then. 70s.Rock, Top 40, Disco, Were and still the absolute Best! Who wouldve thought we had peaked back in the 70s for music?! the 80s and up to 93 were also Great for music .After 93 it was over.

  • @mgrella63 Yup!

  • some good olden music no auto tune just the pure sweet melodies of their voices

  • DACIA 1300 CLUB ROMANIA

  • Can't Hardly Wait brought me here ..... 13 years ago!!!!!! LOL!

  • This is from when women carried themselves like ladies and men carried themselves like gentlemen. When the two met there was no role confusion everything fit like it should. Now everything is upside down and down side up....total confusion. Somebody tell me where i can find a time machine and get out of here.
