I never had that problem... or at least I don't remember it. Anyway, Kiko already has the blue gem so the bug can't happen.

Hint 1) There are 4 Gems scattered around the tower. One carried by an Amazon. Second in one of the Chicken Nests. One in the Flame Trap by the Spinning things. The last one I cannot remember sadly...

Hint 2) You've been hitting, Putting things on the altar with a blue ball by the 4 buttons on the wall? Try Lighting the altar with Spark?

But my guess is that your already way past these areas by now, just thought I'd mention it ;)

Let me fill the blanks... the blue gem is in the upper room of the candle puzzle, the green gem is as you said in one of the Starks nests above the room with the two windows, the red gem inside the tunnel that houses the flame trap, and the purple gem is below one of the bed in the bedrooms. Once placed in there right places, the gems activate the tower deffenses against the Starks and open up hidden rooms across the White Tower, revealing chests with some usefull items.
