Was it the PIT Exhaust though? If so, did you ever have any problems with it? I sure as hell did, so did about 3 of my customers...Hanger problems as well as the silencer material problems. Nice setup though, the car sounded great.

that's an aftermarket performance exhaust so no... it won't melt it into a ball of steel... it's kind of made to PERFORM at high RPMs... kids. :)

I'm not here to argue with anyone. I've worked with a lot of local DFW performance shops and own my own as well and through extensive and expensive testing, the PIT exhaust has some problem...few...but some. It will melt the silencer material when you combine the rear section exhaust with aftermarket headers, test-pipes or highflow cats. Just some helpful advice...thats all.

Dude, you might want to not rev that motor so much cause the VQ35 puts out a shit load of heat and with the PIT exhaust on there its going to melt all the silencer material in the muffler into one bigass ball of steel and then your shit is going to rattle like a m/f. Oh yeah, and just a bit of advice, if you decide to put test-pipes on it, you really need to change that rear section exhaust to a y-pipe exit, the PIT exhaust just retains way too much heat.
