@mharper111 its not. the shrine was built by adam. then rebuilt by abraham. after that abraham was ordered by god to start the pilgrimiges. however when he died idols were placed in it, and polythiests took control. so then the prophet muhammad hundred years later demolished the idols and made the kaaba a place to worship god. oh and we dont worship the kaabah we worship what it represents which is the one god. hope that helps.

@mharper111 its not. the shrine was built by adam. then rebuilt by abraham. after that abraham was ordered by god to start the pilgrimiges. however when he died idols were placed in it, and polythiests took control. so then the prophet muhammad hundred years later demolished the idols and made the kaaba a place to worship god. oh and we dont worship the kaabah we worship what it represents which is the one god. hope that helps.
