In humans, Psychopaths are the conduit for evil, and since psychopaths often rise to positions of power, they can easily manipulate the masses to do anything or believe anything, but always with the drive to consume, control and corrupt. I believe goodness can overcame evil. I think there is a lot of evil in this world but I don't believe there is a thing as pure evil. The thing about evil is even an atom of evil can grow as big as a blackhole (with all the physical properties of a blackhole) if you give it power to.

In humans, Psychopaths are the conduit for evil, and since psychopaths often rise to positions of power, they can easily manipulate the masses to do anything or believe anything, but always with the drive to consume, control and corrupt. I do believe in a soul but that conversation is irrelevant to the consequences and responsibility involved with free will. I am an objectivist and that concept of ethics requires no discussion of God or spirit. And as for telling the gazelle the lion is not evil, animals have no concept of evil.
