I feel the same about tablet vs full operating systems. IOS is designed for touch input while the Windows OS is designed for mouse & keyboard. You do not get the same experience on Windows OS that you get on IOS. Unless they implement a "tablet mode" in Windows 7 which makes things more touch friendly...

Actually the mac os on a tablet came about a year before the ipad. A company came up with a toch screen lcd that ran mac os x and they were planning on selling it. then the ipad came out. So a full os based tablet is anything but a pipe dream. And complants about android ? I'm a mac user and I prefer android over the closed iphone. you can't do a damn thing without jail breaking which is now not possible if you want to update it. I love mac computers but I'm not to crazy about their mobiles.
