The only thing i didnt like about the eMate 300 was its CPU speed. it came out around the MP 2000 but was only 20mhz, it tend to be slow with newton os 2.0

You should do the battery mod to have it run on NimH AAs. It lasts /so/ much longer!

i had one of these back in 1998 for school. My whole class got these on a grant. Thanks for the vid. I forgot about the sounds.

That infrared port was the coolest. We passed notes and games around with the ports.
