No this was a street race round Hamilton that was run in the early 90's. I went to the 1st race in '93 or '94 when Sir Jack Brabham was the feature guest.

@RB30DETR30 Hi, This is the Telecom Motorfest that took place on the 16th of February 1994. It was raced arount the streets of hamilton most of the footage is of the cars entering the norton roundabout...hah how health and safety rules have changes...

Yeah but the V8s went round the otherway. Youll notice no concrete barriers or metal caging here.back in the 90's we took our life in our own hands :-)

Thanks, None of this was sped up infact a couple of bits i slowed down for effect. The zepher blowings its gearbox and a shot of a commodore going past the camera..hey Its all legit :-) Glad you enjoyed it ...what bits looked sped up to you? cheers

Hi From Memory the circuit was Bryce Street- Sedden Street, round the norton roundabout along Rostrevor St and down Tristram street The shots of the jag and the monaro going sideways out of the corner is coming out of Bryce Street into Sedden Rd. The shot of the Mk 1 cortina going past the Tree is in Tristram Street . The Zepher blowing its clutch etc is coming up Sedden Rd into the Norton Roundabout. Hope you enjoyed it.
