This is absolute class. I feel she is making a big mistake by trying to keep her career going with all these absurd iPad gimmicks and silly costumes. The best thing about her music was always her ability to touch the soul. Yes, the originality and creativity was a HUGE part of the successful combination, but it cannot stand alone without the passion and intimacy. Especially when the need to always be "cutting edge" becomes an obsession and self-mockery.
@1776Matthew I'm thinking similiar. just looking at this, comparing with crystalline and everything new plus the fact that she does definitely sing this good today, Im afraid the best days of bjork are gone.... haven't had the chance to use the apps, but it doesn't seem to me as enything spectacular.
All her Riverside Church performances are unbelievable. I've only seen them on Youtube but I'd kill for a dvd of them. Anyone know if one was released ever?
Somehow, every time I see this video, I feel very connected to her. Especially because it it´s not posh and she seems a bit shy. I think it´s perfect that way. Defenitely one of my favourites.
name any other artist, who is confident enough, to sing live, with her self only and a harp or other acoustic instrument. This song is actually very much like the seers and traditional music of Iceland actually. And that is what makes it even better.
@edemardil Yes please do, you won't regret it! Check out her singing Trollabundinn live, it is a lifeexperience to see that live I think! (OK maybe not, but almost ;D)
she is my light.

LOL edemardil. I love Bjork, but come on, plenty of artists sing a capella. Just not the autotune trash artists of today.

the emotion is in her voice... not in the way she moves... have you ever see her dancing? it's horrible!

@edemardil I could name the faroese Eivor Pálsdóttir. She does it all the time.
She even sings live with just a drum.
