@jz309 Its a bit complex; what your going to have to do Is use Camping Pads to make a Mask Base, and make specific pieces that create the brows, chin, etc. Then Use a Eletric Bread Knife to carve edges. and Of course to hold it all together; Hot Glue.

@joeyhawk8 lol, thank you!! I got really lucky with the matterial I got for the hood, I dont even know what it is. But if you plan to make this Mask DO NOT use Burlap cause that stuff itches like hell!!! Find a Matterial that has the same patterns and style as Burlap but softer.

@jz309 I honestly dont know the name of it >.< I bought it at a Store Called Savers. Its a store were you can donate your things for other people to have, and you can buy from there all kinds of stuff real cheap because its all second handed.

During Halloween they sell new Halloween stuff, so one year I found a cheap plastic Mask, bought it, and used it as the base. I built another one for a friend of mine from scratch and turned out amazing!!

GREAT JOB !!! I tried to do the same back in '09. It came out ok, I guess, I didnt like it too much, but ppl liked it. I had used a double canister paint respirator, but the mask form was a pain nda ass bro. what did u use for the face form? I would love to dress up as Scarecrow again. Once again GREAT JOB !!

im making a scarecrow costume and i am using and actual gas mask and i even made the "needles" on his hand. i also am using white and black stiches for the mouth and i am cutting a hole for eyes and sewing see through black cloth over the eye holes. maybe that would help. nice costume though it would also help if yuor arms and legs were showing. his costume was ropped up unlike the coat u r using. like the costume and very good effort.

Lucky, thats really awesome, i wish i had one, altho i guess i could pull it off, i like to make things that dont involve wood, just nice and simple stuff. Now whoever is the 1 person who disliked probably has never played Arkham Asylum and thought you were trying to make the one from the comic or cartoon or something. By the way, you need to make Scarecrows Shot, needle, claw.....thing, from Arkham Asylum that glove that has the shots on it so i can stab people. Dude that would be awesome

Tip: maybe you should have used a breathing mask and just used thick black stitches for the mouth since it would have been easier and quicker. Also, my opinion is that you make a devastator outfit.

You know for last minute effort it really isn't that bad, I give you props. Honestly ( don't take it the wrong way ) when I make masks ( I'm actually gonna make this when i get the right stuff, like an actual respirator ) I try and stay true to some sources and or take something and remodify it. This however done with Burlap the only thing that is true to the source and other cloth and pieces, this is very very nicely detailed, and awesome job with the hood as well

@mgrchip Thanks, that means alot to me :) Im actually working on another costume for my group. Im apart of the "Arizona Avengers" Were we dress up in hand made costumes and show up places as guest stars, go visit kids in hospitals, etc. Were just gettin started so nothing major has come yet.
