If you were doing your homework before commenting, you would know that she is signed to a label, and they have already produced more than just 20 cds. She is played internationally on the spanish stations. I have heard her on several. It just goes to show how much you know, which is nothing. You just cower behind your computer. At least be brave enough to put your picture up. I guess you won't because you are probably some local who's jealous!

Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul was a large woman and fame was not a problem for her. Mama Cass was a very large talented singer with the Mamas & the Papas. That was before the media convienced us that beautiful must weigh next to nothing and saying that they are sexy or fake women who have been enhanced or reduced medically and called them beautiful. Thank God not everyone feels the way you do otherwise her gigs wouldn't be as successful as they are.

Well considering that people have to look at her when she sings looks have a lot to do with success. Maybe you don't think so but the record executives do. If she learned to sing in key and lost a couple of hundred pounds. Wonder why she hasn't auditioned for American Idol? I would pay to hear what Simon had to say to her. Did you have singing lessons? Get a lawyer and sue her.

I've seen her too and think she sucks. Her band is good, they just need a singer. One that they could drive to the gigs in an automobile not a stock trailer.

Everyone believes themselves to be musical critics. I saw Hilda Lamas at the Holiday Inn on Padre Island recently. Hilda is very talented. She can really belt out a song. The other members of the band are very good especially the Bass Player.
