The saddest part is... Lucemon is the most powerful of the Great Demon Lord Digimon, until Daemon digivolves to his Super Ultimate form, which makes him the most powerful Great Demon Lord Digimon.

The best part is that these guys are not even the most powerful Digimon from the Dark Area. The anime seems to leave out the VERY overpowered ZeedMillenniummon and the first season killed off Apocalymon, even though his most powerful attack can destroy an entire universe.

@PanicPuppet06 About Lucemon and Demon. If Demon evolved into Super Ultimate (by getting eating by Arkadimon and then taking over from the inside out or using the DigiMental), he wouldn't count as a Nanadaimaô because of his name change.

The weakest Lucemon FM is still stronger than the strongest Demon SU:

Lucemon Falldown Mode (Bo-1142, C-Type): Paradise Lost 870; Dead or Alive 700; Mamoru 620.

Demon Super Ultimate (Bo-26v, A-Type): Algol's Flame 860; Dark Spreader 800; Mamoru 490.

@crimsonninja I imagine by "Shadowlord Mode", you mean Lucemon Satan Mode, he isn't a Demon Lord, he's a Demon God. Ogdomon isn't a Demon Lord either, he's an Avatar type Digimon.

By "SU" I imagine that you mean Super Ultimate. The only three Super Ultimate Digimon all show up in V-Tamer 01, and they all had "Super Ultimate" *in their names*.

Why do you mix actual and dub names? =P Nothing against it, it's just a little weird.

- in Digimon World Dusk and Dawn, Chronomon Holy Mode is confirmed to be an Ultimate Digimon. (I can point you to a video evolving into him.)

- Destroy Mode by extension is questionable. Note that this mode is the weaker one.

- Susanoomon is only said to be Super Ultimate in an American D-Tector card, not any Japanese source.

- The last three are confirmed Super Ultimates.

- The first one's real name is Alforce* V-Dramon Zero Super Ultimate Future Mode, as confirmed by his card Bo-25v. It means "Super Ultimate" but is pronounced "Future Mode". (In Japanese you can separate pronunciation from meaning.) *Or Ulforce.

- The last two's names are Demon Super Ultimate and Arkadimon Super Ultimate. Not in parentheses is important because Super Ultimate is a part of their names. [Bo-26v, Bo-27v]

@BaybAngelo Lucemon Satan Mode (his "final" form) AND Lucemon Larva (his real final form) are both Demon God Digimon by type. You have to be a Demon Lord by type to be one of the Seven Great Demon Lords. Maôgata just means Demon Lord Type in romanised Japanese.

@BaybAngelo You really can't make a judgement like that. Some may be; some may not be. Remember that there are some versions of Digimon where either or neither of them may exist and in different ways too.

Even if they could be compared, it's time consuming enough to compare one Digimon to another. Comparing seven to twelve is about 84 times worse.

Anyway, of the Olympus Jûnishin, only 6 are known: Marsmon, Minervamon, Mercurymon, Neptunemon, Apollomon and Dianamon.

@soraxfire I don't know if you meant to say "seven" or not, but there are Seven Great Demon Lords, like the seven seals on the Gate of Grave Sin, the same seven crowns on Lucemon Satan Mode and the seven legs that Ogudomon has. The complete name *is* actually The Seven Great Demon Lords, 七大魔王 Nanadaimaou (literally Seven Great Devils).

But by checking Digimon Savers (Another Mission), Digimon Story, Digimon Twin or any of the Seven's profile, it's verifiable that there are only Seven.
