i see this is in Austin (from another clip) 2008 - so it was NOT the show we saw

the show we saw was in '05 and EJ show in Lafayette, LA - Landreth came on for EJ's encores (this looks like a Landreth show, that EJ guested on?) cool stuff

i think we were at this show - if not we did see EJ and Sonny came on for the encore's , late Aug 2005 in Laffayettte, Grant Street was the club, it was soon b4 the hurricane - i didn't know Landreth until that show (even being from La.) - the new Crossroads '07 DVD has some great Landreth performances - on the 1st DVD (Clapton with him on a tune)

you're so incredibly dilusional... Landreth is slide surgeon, cold and calculated. Derek Trucks is more akin to EJ, in that he feels it and it just pours out of him. EJ, SRV, Derek Trucks - cut from the same cloth. Landreth is more akin to Jeff Beck or Malmsteen (but without the stage show and hair farming)
