I take it the keyboard acts as it normally should with the control box isn't attached to the side, that's very cleaver I must admit if I'm right that is.
Holy crap, I too have a Casio PT-12. It was my first instrument when I was 6 years old and I still have it today, although it's missing a C# key. I've always thought about circuit bending it to add a 1/8" jack.
I'm modding my PT-12 and I was wondering how exactly you made an external controller like that. I haven't seen anything like that in bending before (although i'm new). I was also wondering how I do rhythm select. Mine doesn't seem to work... I press rhythm select and a labelled key and nothing happens. I remember I couldn't figure it out as a kid either. Also I was wondering if you had any information about your audio out as well. So basically, TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW! Just kidding...
That is super sexy. Share the schematics?

Better than most bends.
Most bends you hear now are just a bunch of noise. This actually produces music like qualities with cool sounds.
Props. I'm searching for decent keyboards to bend.

What's the altoids box and how is it connecting to the PT-12???
joejumps4fun 3 years ago
Your circuit bend is actually useful and seems like it adds another dimension to the existing instrument.
Well done.

I once made something like that but I just used a 7UP. I accidentally droped it over my PT-10 and it got a new fat crunchy sound, realy cool :D

I did a kind of circuit bend effect when I accidentally dropped a 7UP on my PT-10. It sounded greatly after that :D

thats not circuit bent you tard the definition of circuit bent is to screw around with the wires on the inside without really knowing what ur doin
jumpingguy 4 years ago
What? Uh, I did. There's not really any wires on the inside of the PT-12 either. Just points.

Well I guess I'll let it slide then.

Uh. Ok. Haha. Read video summaries and use critical thinking. =D

Jesus man you actually expect me to read more than a few sentences? what do you think I am? A freakin smart person or something?
jumpingguy 4 years ago
I think it's definition is to interact with the function inside no matter if you know what you're doin or not.
