"Every belief that I hold on to,I do with just enough doubt that I could change my mind,if need be." I agree with you 100% on that.I'm looking forward to seeing more of you vids.
Thank you - but, I hope that you're agreeing with me with a reasonable amount of doubt and not actually to 100%!
In a later video, I'm going to discuss normal linguistic usage of phrases concerning absolute certainty (such as the one you used) - how people use them, and whether we ought to stop using them if we don't really mean it.
Okay, how about... "I agree with you to a high degree of certainty in a way that reflects my world view and experiences" I'll be looking forward to that vid.I was always a big fan of George Carlin and love the bits he would do on language,I'm sure(with a reasonable degree of certainty)I will enjoy it. =)
Good vids TDA Keep it up.

What about doubting your own existence? Is that okay? Or can I have complete certainty of it?

Meant to say MY own existence. My bad.

he spoke of this in the first video, refuting that decarte should have said, "i think therefore something is"
you should doubt but not completely. the key here is to leave enough doubt to change your mind, if need be

Actually, I /would/ want everyone to distrust me partially, because I'm not infallible. :)

Another great series to look forward to!
One of the best definitions of the word "faith" (in the religious context) I've heard is from Matt Dillahunty from Atheist Community of Austin.
"Faith is the excuse given for our beliefs when we dont know what our reasons are or we dont want our reasons examined"
I actually feel it is better than Sam Harris', which I think is "faith is believing with no good reason"
