  • Great Video, Liked! :)

  • The East Somerset Railway is one of the best railways I have ever known.

I volunteer at the ESR on weekends, because I love Steam engines. Trains are incredible. :)

  • So much for that lousy Dr.Beeching, looks like he coulden't keep the railways down forever! Good job

  • Nice one mate, another 5* vid from you Ryan!

  • Thank you man!

  • Great video mate, I volunteer at that railway, I was one of the people working on the Yankee tank 30075!

  • The engine shed was interesting to be in, as on many preserved lines not many of them are restricted to the public were as this one wasn't. The USA Tank 30075 is a very interesting loco.

  • Yeh, i've found that on many lines, you can't go in the shed, the ESR has always done it, lets just hope all the health and saftey rubbish don't close the shed to the public, we would not be happy, it's good to have the shed open to public, they ask you questions about the locos and things like that, and your there to answer them!

  • Yeah the DFR's used to be open to the public but because of H&S they haven't been able to since 2007.

  • thats one of the good things about didcot, getting in the shed and workshop allways interesting to see in engines in mid overhaul

  • This is a great little video this, and opening with a poppy, on this day of the month, very touching in deed..I enjoyed you video very much..thank you for posting it.

  • What a lovely little film. I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing. 5*
