Eb-tuning yes, and guys...unfortunately I learned alot of this by ear. Especially the SOLO parts. There some parts I referenced from on ultimate-guitar, but for the most part they were all wrong and I had to rely on ear.

harmonic progression is when your playing a harmonic and slowly sliding up the frets, this guy however stopped instead of slowly progressing

if u dont know what harmonic is then there is no way of telling you without shitloads of confusion.

you can play the solo and it sounds good do you know what effects billy corgan used in the solo

Unfortunately, I can only guess. You'd have to look into his rig online. I would guess some distortion, reverb, and maybe some phaser. All I used was Reverb and some good gain, as well as some good compression every now and then. Other than that I don't know a whole lot about effects. Thanks alot for checking it out, Sorry I can't be more help.
