Every uni has many new building each year....dont think new buildings is the measure of a university.

Mac goes to a lot of University's and a lot come to Mac ...its sort of what universities do....but that being said Macs rep for science and medicine far exceeds waterloo's...I dont think mac coming to waterloo has anything to do with waterloo being better at science...

Depends on the program; there is a sizable community, in my opinion and it is well organized (club-wise, events, etc.). Unless you're one of those sad people who can make friends only with people of their own ethnicity, I don't think you'd feel out of place (if you are, then you'd feel out of place anywhere really). Also, you shouldn't judge a school just by a brief youtube video...

It really does depend on which program youre in and the classes you take. I'm going into my 4th year this September and in my mandatory lectures I tend to be one of the few or the only black students in the class. However when you pick course that is typically taken as electives tend to have more black students from different programs. there are however a few "black" clubs, but I would suggest that you don't limit your social interactions to those clubs. Will you be living on campus?

Social science and humanities... low 70's maybe? I had 84 average...

But for something like nursing or engineering I think it's high 80's, 90's?

If you check on the website it should say the entering averages they want.
