My favorite scene from this movie, I think I've watched it thousand times. It's great to see Cary and his good friend Randy share a scene together, and what a hilarious one. Randolph Scott was a real hunk!

They did a remake of in in the 60's with Doris Day. I can't imagine who of today's actors could play those parts, although you're right that the movie theme is still relevat to this time.
I wonder if it was really Randy who did the stunt. It does look like him from afar but I am not sure. And yes Cary's face when he saw what a handsome and sportive rival he actually got in Mr.Burkett - priceless! I like when the woman asks if it was Johnny Weissmuller and Cary says "I wish it were Him!"
I love the way Randolph Scott spitts water all over Cary at 5:34! I bet Grant wanted to wipe his face but he kept on going. Great movie.
