just realised that it is easier to play the 3rd chord with the first finger on 5th string c and the 3rd or 4th finger on 3rd string g and the rest open, it the same as your chord but less fingers used

@kmacmuzikmafia27 yea man, it is insanely frustrating, especially if you just practice chords and changes and scales..the best way, i found, is to realize that you can pretty much play any song with 3-4 chords. learn those chords, then just practice playing the song. also, mix it up. I learned "save tonight" first, for instance, then got tierd of all the chords and worked really hard at learning "21" by cory smith--fingerpicking. hope this helps man

"--" you skip "ud" after the "!D!" and !D! means you gotta accent it (hit it harder)

[D] = percussive slap (muted down strum)

(1) is chord 1 and 3

(2) is chord 2 and 4

Just play a bit with the strumming :)

You make the song sound sorta correct, some of your chords are off though.

first chord, dont use your 4th finger on the 3rd string. the 2nd chord youre off a little, and the 4th finger should be on the 2nd string on the 5th fret, to do a switch to the 4th chord just stay in the same chord position as the 3rd but just take your 2nd finger off and put it on the 6th string, 5th fret. (pretty much the same chord but an easier switch too)

@Zemken12 the way I play, the transitions between the chords is much easier as you don't have to move your whole hand like he does for a couple of chords and sounds the same if not better. I can't say either of us are playing it 100% correct, because I'm yet to find an official vid that focus on the acoustic guitar enough... It's just that he's making harder work of it than it is :).

omg people who keep saying cut your fingernails there is this thing called classical guitar. Just like metal or rock it is another form of guitar style/playing. Many songs almost require long nails to play. Not to mention, the tone sounds better to some peoples ears. It's not that they like long nails or think it looks good, they put their music above petty appearances. Many classical guitar teachers even insist you grow your nails.
