GOOD NEW PEOPLE!!!! "It's a knockout" are back on tv. Will be on channel 7TWO (72). How do I know? I spoke channel 10 that they said channel 7 who bought it. And I spke channel 7 and they said yes they bought it. And they said will be on 7TWO and not know when be on, not on stage yet. Just eyes on TV WEEK. Be patient. I can't wait. And yes its 1985-1987 repeats. "It's a knocout" have moved to channel 7 and will be on 7TWO!!!!

@macdaddymusic The BBC did have their own version, and used to show it on a rotational basis with the French version as well. The BBC version ran from 1966-1982, the French Version (Jeux sans Frontieres) ran from 1965 to 1999, and then Channel Five in the UK revived it for a short time in 1999-2001.

Nowadays we have Total Wipeout, which is similar, and we had Hole in the Wall, which ended recently, plus numerous children's gameshowsfrom the pt and present

So we had about 20 versions of it!

I absolutely LOVED this show when I was a kid!

Now we have that rubbish known as Gladiators... (and Big Brother etc... but I won't get started on that now)

Ahhhh and just watching how that water is just running freely... no water restrictions in those days... like the days of running under the sprinklers in summer... gosh they were great days... kids today are seriously missing out on some good clean fun/entertainment etc...

I've been on a bit of a nostalgia kick at the moment. I think Foxtel should have a 'nostalgia' or '80s' channel.

They can show It's a Knockout, Beyond 2000, Monkey Magic, ALF, heaps of stuff! :)

Yeh, I Been thinking Foxtel should have a Game Show Channel like the do in the US. And Show like Its A Knockout, The Main Event, Press Your Luck and stuff but Aussie versions to name a few.
