Sony Vegas Pro 8 is great at handling the raw video files from the canon vixia hf100 through vegas you can render them to pretty much any other format as well as edit or w/e

Both the sony and canon HD camera have the same video format hence it works well.

You should be able to just open up iMovie first and then plug in your camera and have it work. It might, and probably will take a sec to recognize it, but it should be fine. You may need to have your camera connected to an outlet for power, as transferring video requires a lot of energy.

OH MY GOD! Scholastic are like the best people in the world. I won a signed copy of "The End" by Lemony Snicket in a drawing and they threw in a bunch of really cool stuff with it, too. And, that's so nice of them to give you THE WHOLE POTTER SERIES. Lucky dog.

If all the other girls in the contest wanted to win to buy video making equipment and plane tickets, then I would definitely vote for Shawna. But some of the other girls want to use the money to save horse or donate to MS research. I don't understand why this didn't seem to cross anyone else's mind.
